Cute, Very on Trend Skirt for a Great Price!

I got the privilege to participate in the review for the new Maison Simons line. I ordered the skirt in the Marine Blue color, because its a great color/shade for fall.

This skirt is very much on trend with all of the designs and stores selling clothing with bows, especially skirts. This skirt is great quality to begin with, but the fact that its being sold for only $50 is a mega steal! It's very well made, and definitely will last you more then just one season. From this point alone I would recommend this skirt.

This skirt is very versatile in its design. You can wear this skirt anywhere from a day at work to a crazy night out with the girls, and everything in between. I formed two outfits around this skirt, and they were polar opposites of one another. The first being a business casual look, I paired it with a black chiffon long sleeve, red pumps and simple gold jewelry. I look well put together, business casual and very chic. My second look being a more rocker chic look, I dressed it down with a black graphic tee, black leather jacket, dr marten boots and a black suede cap. I looked like a badass! My point is that this skirt can be made into anything you want it to be, incorporate it into your own personal style and 100% it will look great!


One thing I was a little disappointed with was that it didnt fit me as well as I had hoped. Now this is something I struggle with regularly, I've got a fairly smaller frame (size XXS or XS), and I have got a bit more of a straight body shape. So when trying this skirt on for the first time, it wasn't as tight on my body as I had hoped. Although if youre hoping to werar this to work, you dont want it to be too tight.

All in all, this skirt is very on trend and stylish, its a great price, and versatile in all the right ways. I would recommend this piece to anyone who loves being on trend and not spending like crazy!

Perfect skirt for Fall/Winter

I love this bow skirt! I got the red/navy which I can dress-up or down. It can be paired with tights and boots, then look chic this fall/winter. The bow detail makes it so unique and fun!

I am 5'2 and it is the perfect length for me. It can be a mini skirt if you're taller than I am!

Love the bow

I love the bow and the plaid pattern on this skirt. It looks so cute! It doesn't fit me as well as I had hoped it would. It was a bit loose in the waist and slid down too far and wouldn't stay up. I followed the sizing chart and ordered a medium but maybe I should have ordered a small. Otherwise the skirt is very cute, I just wish it fit me better. I received this product for free from Chickadvisor in exchange for an honest review.

Trendy, and PERFECT for Work!

This skirt is beautiful and has such a unique design. I got the brown herringbone print and the fabric is glorious. Definitely worth the $50. It is lined, and has a generous amount of fabric for the bow. The length is good, could be a bit longer. It fits true to size - I'm a true 0 or XS. Unfortunately, the "fit finder" app online did not work for this item. It advised me to buy the size S, which was way too big and floppy. The bow was down between my legs, not up at the waist. Luckily, I was able to have it exchanged super quick and the new size fits great. The bow makes the skirt

I love this skirt! It's such a cute twist on the 'schoolgirl' style kilt. The bow is something I haven't seen before and it adds a really interesting factor. The bow can actually be untied which is both bad and good. Since it's actually two pieces of loose fabric, you have to be careful how it hangs. But since it can be adjusted, this helps to play around with the look a bit more!

Cute christmas Outfit

The quality of the fabric is good, the bow looks a bit weird but I found a way to place it so it's not too bad, the size is great and it is comfy. I'm sure it will last long which is not too bad for the price.

I loved this skirt the second I saw it! The plaid is perfect for fall and the knotted wrap detail is so on-trend right now. I found the fit finder extremely helpful for finding my size. I bought a size Large and am normally a size 8 or 28 in pants/jeans (and have curvy hips). It fit me very well! I am very happy! I would say that this line fits on the small size. If you are larger than a size 8, there isn't a size to accommodate you. Overall I am extremely happy with my purchase! I like that the knot can be untied and re-tied so that it can adjust to your body specifically (it didn't fall right the first time I tried it on). The shipping took about a week and I am really impressed with the quality of the garment for the price point. Will definitely be shopping Twik in the future!

Super cute, but runs a tad big

I really wanted to give this skirt five stars, but the fit wasn't great on me. The XS was still to wide and I wear size 23/24 bottoms. This meant the bow hung a little low and looked sloppy. If I were to wear it again, I'd have the sides taken in for a slimmer fit. Other than the sizing, I'd totally recommend this to someone who can better fit it!

I love my new skirt! I wasn't sure on the website but when I tried it, it was perfect on me! I love te details and quality. I don't like order online but Simons is really great! You can do a test to determine your size, the shipping was fast and well packed.

Cute but fits small

This skirt is adorable; I love the bow detail and the soft fabric. It's a nice length (not too short), and has a simple, zipper closure. I like that the bow on the front can be retied to ensure it looks/fits properly. The only downfall to this pieces is that it runs very small. The waist fit me perfectly, but the hips were very tight (and this is already size larger than I normally wear). I would like it better if the material/lining had some stretch to it. Other than that, it's a very cute and unique piece! I received this free for review.
