The books were a rather disappointment. I read them to see what all the hype was about, but just could not find it.

I bought this book long before the it became popular and before the movies came out. I was instantly a fan, the characters are great and the story keeps you engaged the whole time. It's a great love story with the twist of Edward being a vampire. It's too bad they made movies and ruined it with the awful actors they chose to play the main characters parts.

They were ok but not as big as everyone made them out to be. a little corny in spots

I got my copy through a book exchange. I actually enjoyed it! Have only read the first 2 .I have some catching up to do!

Love these books and the movies. Great read for anytime of day. For those who havnt read or seen the movies i highly reccomend it.

I brought this book with me on a long flight and I read through half of it and couldn't wait to read the rest of it. It's the kind of book that you don't need to think to much. The writing is not great (it was written for teenagers), but the story is entertaining. Don't waste your time on the movie, but the book is worth your time

It is a great novel for adolescents. This is the first book and for the first one it is really good and makes you want to read the second one. I did not love the movies but I did like the books. Although the deepness of the story isn't not great and some of the things that happen are easily guessed, characters are nicely developed and Stephanie gives a twist to all we know about Vampires that makes it interesting.

I read it and it's a great book to have. Love it! :)

I really enjoyed the book. Much to my own surprise! It was like junk food for my brain. Easy to read and interesting story. I found that it dragged along slowly in a few places and could have used a few more conflicts. I also thought Bella was a little whiny and over-dramatic at times, but weren't we all when we were teenagers!? lol

I have decided to read the whole series before watching the movies. Yes, I know I'm behind on this trend but better late than never.
