Twilight by Stephenie Meyer Reviews
#4 in Books

Description

Isabella Swan's move to Forks, a small, perpetually rainy town in Washington, could have been the most boring move she ever made. But once she meets the mysterious and alluring Edward Cullen, Isabella's life takes a thrilling and terrifying turn. This is the the 1st book in the Twilight Saga.

I really disliked this series. I am a female adult. These books are definitely aimed at teenage girls.

I was hooked by the second chapter of this. I remember in the seventh grade when the first movie was coming out but I didn't really pay much attention to the commercials so I was completely in the dark about it. It wasn't until a girl in my class was reading it so I read the back of her book and decided to give it a go. The books are absolutely amazing and they're what started my passion for reading, the movies are definitely nowhere near as good but that's a whole other review haha. This book made me feel as though I was in Forks, Washington with Bella and Edward, I felt all of Bella's emotions and when she was scared I was genuinely terrified. I remember being home sick from school for a few days and reading so far into it that I had to send my dad to chapters to buy the second book so I could continue!

I got hooked from the first page. It's the kind of book that draws you into it's world and you lose yourself completely in the storyline. A very descriptive style that makes you anxious to find out more. You can't help but be drawn to the ever romantic Edward who has fallen hopelessly in love with Bella. I enjoyed this book tremendously and the movie as well. Team Edward!!!

I don't care what anyone says this series got a lot of people, children and adults into reading. I like this seres and I liked the movies. Yes they did't have much substance but they were good reads. Also this is what 50 Shade of Grey in based on FYI (fan fiction at its greatest).

The books were a rather disappointment. I read them to see what all the hype was about, but just could not find it.

I bought this book long before the it became popular and before the movies came out. I was instantly a fan, the characters are great and the story keeps you engaged the whole time. It's a great love story with the twist of Edward being a vampire. It's too bad they made movies and ruined it with the awful actors they chose to play the main characters parts.

I personally would never recommend this series of books to anyone, however it is a simple read and very easy to grasp plot.

Definitely not the best written series out there, but great for a mind cleanse - very easy quick read and just soap opera-y enough to keep my attention. Normally I go for text books, true crime and forensic dramas, so this is truly a rare occasion that I read books such as Twilight.

I liked Twilight before the movies came out. I was obsessed with the love of Edward and Bella. I found myself sneaking in time to read more, obsessively waiting for the next book to release... The story is addicting and I really find that I can re-read these books over and over again and LOVE it. Read the books before seeing the movies if you can. If you've already seen the movies, read the books anyways!! They'll explain so much that was missed in the films.

Probably one of the best series I have read in a long while. You just fall in love with all the characters and the books keep you wanting more. Love
