Good idea but not so great

I thought it was so cute for my daughter but after I took it out the package it was horrible. I just couldn't figure out how to put it together. My youngest thought it was a chew toy for him. My daughter wasn't that impressed with it, she thought it was really cute but didn't like it.

My daughter likes it

This plush is a good concept but it isn’t a long lasting love. I love that it is a toy that is basted on one of my daughters favorite toys it is well sewn and made of soft plush. What I don’t love is that it is a trendy toy, that it is hard to keep “twisted” and snuggled and results in my daughter snuggling with a strange snake type unicorn. It also unsnaps and we were often looking for a missing piece in her bed. It’s cute but, I wouldn’t buy it unless my daughter really begged for it.

Beware or your pet will be limbless

This pet comes wrapped in a cute package which shows how you "untwist" the legs and you can wear your pet just like a necklace. But once you unwrap this toy you see how easily it is for the pieces to be lost. The paws connect by a barrel style snap which means they are very easy to unsnap and for the paws to be lost. It would be nice if there was a safety cord that would still keep it together even if it became unsnapped.

On the front paws there is a TINY TINY rubber band that keeps the animal from being untwisted to the full length. If you find that your pet is not fully untwisted check for that tiny rubber band. The twisting reminds me very much of a balloon animal. You put the paws together and twist them and then push them up into the body. Your child will be really good at making balloon dogs after twisting this pet!

Beware that playing with it all twisted together is rather hard because the head does not have alot of stuffing to be held up straight. It is rather floppy which makes the play aspect frustrating for small kids when the animal is straightened out.

It is not a toy I would give to a small child. To easy to unsnap and lose the body parts and the unsupported head means it does not play well as a toy. For older kids to wear as a scarf would be a fun accessory to add to your outfit. A fashionista would love this item!

Plush and cute

Twisty Petz has another hit on their hands! This toy is so soft and cute. Out of the package my daughter couldn’t wait to wear it and show it off. It also cleans up easily if it should happen to get dirty. We loved playing with this and can’t wait to get our hands on the unicorn one!

Not a favorite

While my daughter was very excited to receive the twisty pets cat, it quickly became a hassle. The cat comes apart so you can wear it. But the problem is that it comes apart all of the time. It kind of just twists together so when it comes untwisted it just falls apart. It’s a cute idea that maybe just isn’t executed the best. We are very grateful to have been given the opportunity to try it though

Not our favorite toy

We received our Twisty Petz Cuddlez Snowballs Unicorn and were immediately excited for the toy. It’s super soft and bright colors made my daughter eager to get it out of the packaging. Unfortunately, the excitement didn’t last long. The toys novelty of wrapping around a neck to carry along wore off quickly and it was quickly forgot about and discarded in the corner of the playroom. I do love that the unicorn has quick release snaps for safety, but in general the toy is slightly awkward when not wrapped around something and isn’t a stand alone toy. It’ll be an occasionally played with item, but I would not seek buying another for either my own kids or as a gift. We received this toy for free through FamilyRated for testing purposes.

Cute product

We had a chance to try out a Twisty Petz toy. My children really loved how cute and cuddly, soft, fluffy, and it seemed to easily twist apart and come back together. They love taking it apart and wearing their twisty petz, and love playing with it as a large plush. We are very pleased with this toy and will probably purchase more in the future, either for our children or for friends and family as gifts.

Probably wouldn’t buy.

It was a cute concept, but my 5 year old had a hard time putting back into its original form. I don’t think it’s a very functional toy. It kept coming apart and not staying twisted together. She loved the softness of the twisty pet though, and the unicorn character.

What fun this is.

This is such a cute and fun toy My daughter really loves having this and playing and showing it to her friends. It's soft and well made and eay to twist and turn. She likes it some much that we plan to get more of them.
