Didn't work for me

Murphy's Law...get free sample pills (not one or two, but a bottle of 24) and then not get a headache. That was the good part. However, when I finally did get a headache, I took one as instructed as soon as I felt it coming on. The pain got worse and eventually I had to go lie down as I was feeling dizzy and nauseous. I am prone to migraines but have never felt these symptoms before when taking other meds. Didn't want to write a review without trying it again, so my second headache came on strong and I took another pill. This time I was fortunate enough to have been at home and was able to lie in a dark, quiet room and fall asleep for a couple of hours. When I woke, the headache was mostly gone. So...hard to say if it really worked or just the fact that I could have a nap and sleep it off. Will definitely try it again since I have a whole bottle, but only if I'm at home in case the dizziness and nausea creep up again.

Not for me

I suffer from regular headaches and migraines so I was looking forward to trying this product.

The timing for this one was spot on, I've had a headache for about a week now with it turning in to a full blown migraine twice. I was hopeful to have something new to try. Sadly this did nothing for me. Tylenol is hit or miss with my migraines when they get bad, but it usually helps for smaller headaches. When I took these pills I didn't notice a difference at all.

I won't be buying these for my headaches, but I will keep the bottle on hand for other aches and pains down the road to give it a shot again.

Not as advertised

I did not find the rapid release Tylenol brand caplets to be any better than the generic acetaminophen tablets. It was not faster in relieving back pain than my usual painkillers. The caplets are small which makes it easier to swallow but it is not as effective as it states it is.

Did not help with my headache

I was really excited to receive these for testing. I was suffering from a severe headache that week so I thought it’s the perfect opportunity to put the pills to the test. Unfortunately I did not get any relief. I took one pill and pain did not go away. The next dose I took 2 pills thinking it would definitely help but that only proceeded to make the pain worse. Tylenol migraine extra strength works a lot better for me.

No rapid relief experienced

I got the chance to try Tylenol Rapid Release Gelcaps Extra Strength for free from ChickAdvisor. I was looking forward to trying this product as it claims it's a rapid release gelcap that provides rapid relief for fever and mild to moderate headache pain.

I am all too familiar with experiencing headaches as well as the process of finding products to assist with the pain. In the process, over the years, I have found some things I like to use, but this Tylenol Rapid Release is not something I will be reaching for. I personally did not experience rapid or effective relief of headache pain. To me, I'd rate this product as mediocre and I think there are cheaper alternatives that provide better relief than this Tylenol Rapid Release. I view Tylenol as a quality brand, but this specific product did not live up to its claims. As a result, I won't be buying this product nor do I recommend it.

Would go a different way

I was super intrigued to try the new fast acting Tylenol gel caps but was sadly disappointed when I did. I found that didn’t tend to work any faster than the tylenol I was used to taking and found they did nothing for my pain if I only took 1 capsule. They worked fine when I took two capsules and were super easy to swallow! If that’s all the was on the shelf I’d buy them but they weren’t what I was hoping for. I wouldn’t recommend it for my friends or family. Tylenol has done better with many other products #gotitfree

Rapid Release Tylonol

I received this as a free sample from Family Rate / Chickadvisor. I tried it on the weekend as my knee was aching. I did not find that it worked more rapidly than any other Tylonol product, it worked in the same time. It also found that it wasn't as strong as the normal extra strength I take and it didn't last as long. I see no benefit in using this, also this never comes on sale. Normal Tylonol always comes on sale for really cheap. I will stick with what I normally buy.

I used to be a frequent migraine and headache sufferer, where I used to experience them for multiple days at a time.
This package received just in time, at the onset of a headache. I was excited to try this product because while most over the counter medications don't work I have found that extra strength does provide moments of relief that allow me to get things done.
Unfortunately, this product did not work for me and I suffered 2 days of pain with no relief. I even tried the capsules in combination with heat, peppermint oil, hot showers, extra water, hot tea and/or sleep, with no success.
I won't rule this product out yet, but it may be a product that is useful when taken at the exact onset of a headache.

Sticking to Advil

I #GOTITFREE through #FamilyRatedClub and I cannot say that it helped me get through #ForWhatMattersMost. I'm actually quite disappointed in this product. I had a pretty bad headache yesterday and today. I took a pill, waited an hour and a half, and then I took an Advil. The Tylenol did not help at all. Perhaps it was based on the type of headache. I'm not sure. I was looking forward to a quick release, and this did not happen. I will not be purchasing this product!

Effective for aches and pains but not headaches

I tried Tylenol Rapid Release Gelcaps on three separate occasions. On the first, I took one gelcap after work to treat a headache. On the second time, I took one to help soothe my sore muscles after a hard workout. And on the third occasion, I took one after waking up with a hangover and headache.

On the two occasions that I took one to treat my headaches, I found it be ineffective. My headache persisted for hours after taking the gelcap and didn't relieve the pain.

However, when I took one to treat my aches and pains, I found it be more effective. Overall, I felt less pain a few hours after taking it.

I think the value is on par with other pain medications. But I'm not sure whether I would recommend this to my friends and family.
