Works like any other tampon however if you leak through it's not as good as Tampax. Definitely prefer the braided string of Tampax, helps hold the leak better. These tampons are more expensive and are not as good.
sorry to say I don't like these compared to my usual brand, maybe just me but I find they leak too much
Innovative, fun, different, colourful, and your purse's best friend.
But I can't tell you how many times I have shot the actual cotton piece out onto the bathroom floor (yeah, yeah - rookie mistake) or have pushed the cotton piece part out a bit too far in the slightest before inserting resulting in a pretty plastic applicator and a useless swab of cotton.
Let's face it - the size isn't all that different from your traditional tampon and it sure doesn't do anything too magical. The tear line to open the tampon isn't anything too spectacular either in comparison to Tampaxs' easy to open "flaps" (My apologies for the suggestiveness)
Cute idea, but I ain't buyin' it
I think that these were just too expensive for the quality of them. They work just as well, or if anything worse, than other tampons but are just more expensive because of the colors. The applicator was a bit tough to make click which made it difficult to use. So i think that pretty much these are average tampons that are a bit overpriced just because they look cool.
I bought this because I have a coupon, tried it and think is just so-so, I prefer the other brand over this, I know is all colourful and all that but nothing special, I don't find it that absorbent. I don't think I will buy it again unless it's on sale and I can get it dirt cheap otherwise I wouldn't pay much for another one.
I only bought these because they were on sale and I had a coupon. I`m very glad they were cheap because I wasn`t overly impressed with them. I don`t really care that they have pretty colors, its a tampon, as long as it is going to work. Personally I found that they sucked. They didn`t work near as well as the brand I normally use. They were very flimsy and seemed like they were cheaply made. No I wouldn`t buy these ever again, even if it was a last resort.
I abhor these. I used to have the thought of, "Tampons are tampons", but not true with these. They are not very effective, even on a lighter day. I'll admit...the packaging is cute.
I have to admit, these were part of a free sample kit from Kotex. BUT. I seriously HATE them. Unless I'm doing something wrong, I can't get them to insert. And when I try to use the "plunger" part, the plastic NIPS me you-know-where!!!!!! And even if I remove the tampon from the applicator and insert it myself, it doesn't protect very well AND has fallen OUT!!!! And frankly, when it's that time of the month and you're in need of that kind of protection, who wants to feel like the whore of Babylon????? Like I said, I would be willing to admit that I might be doing something wrong but ..... it's a tampon, not a rocket ship! I found myself mouthing the f-bomb QUITE a few times while trying to make these work!
I just didn't find them effective on any level. Having said that, I have used the pantyliners of the same line and they are awesome.
