Unfortunately i ma not happy with this product. it is tasteless and dry and grainy. for the price of this product i was hoping for more in the way of taste. couldn't taste or even smell the cinnamon or see any raisins in it. I threw this product out
Not the best, but not the worst
As far as gluten free breads go, Udi's Cinnamon Raisin Bread isn't bad! The texture is a little . . . spongy. Like most gluten free breads, it's best when toasted, but it can get a little crunchy. Lots of butter can solve that problem, though!
Perhaps most importantly, Udi's sells at an affordable price -- around $5 a loaf. My favourite brand of gluten free breads costs me $7-8 for a loaf of the same size, but the better taste and texture isn't worth the extra cost, so Udi's definitely makes for the best second choice!
My sister eats gluten free, so I had a chance to try this bread and I was surprised because a lot of gluten free food is very bland and tastes horrible. This bread is moist ,the raisins are sweet, and when this bread is toasted it is so delicious. My only complaint would be the price ,gluten free products are really expensive
I've been gluten free for about 2 years. In those 2 years this has become my favorite bread!
I have been gluten free for eight years and this is the only bread that is like "real bread" and tastes awesome!
One thing I have been missing like crazy was having cinnamon raisin bread toasted with margarine, cinnamon and little sugar once in a while. Even though for the most part I try to bake as much as possible I sometimes you just don't have the time. But It can be really frustrating paying the higher amounts for the gluten-free favourites only find out it sucks. A lot of times with the bread like products I find they taste super dry and not at all like regular bread. But today Metro had a few breads a little cheaper than usual and I was happy to see cinnamon raisin bread. And It's soooooo good! If you did a blind taste test you would be hard pressed to taste the difference between this and normal wheat flour cinnamon bread. I'm so happy I gave it a try and I'll be looking out to try more products by Udi's in the future.
