This is a simple elegant timer for kitchen use and really, anything you need timed. I think not a lot of people know that with this style of timer you have to turn it all the way to 55 and then back to the number you want for it to work properly, otherwise it does not always ring. I know this because my mother had a similar style to this and growing up, we always did it that way and never had a problem!

Very sturdy, counts up to 55 Minutes and lets out a good shrill ring. Careful not to scare your pets though!
