I have to admit that the design of this necklace is not really to my taste. However, I can appreciate that it's unique and interesting and doesn't look the same as every other necklace you see. The design reminds me of an hourglass.

I do think it looks better on, but I would recommend measuring your neck as this is quite a short chain and wouldn't be suitable for those with larger necks. As a plus size lady, this is very tight like a choker on me, so if you're larger make sure this would fit you well before purchasing.

One way this could be improved would be to remove the plastic wrap and cardboard backing and send it in just the velvet box, as these two thing contribute to a feeling of cheapness.

However, most of this is my personal taste. It should be noted that this is 'fashion' jewellery and not precious metal of any kind. So as long as you're aware of that and like the style, there are a lot of good things about this necklace too. It has a lot of shine, both on the metal and the pearl. It also arrived with no flaws and no issue, exactly as pictured, so the quality is fine. The chain is nice and delicate, for those who prefer a lighter chain.
