Effective cult classic setting spray

As a longtime user of Urban Decay products, especially their makeup palettes and shadow primer, I had high expectations for their All Nighter Waterproof Makeup Setting Spray. All in all, I'd say that this product performed amazingly, I just had a few minor things I think could be improved.

First and foremost, this product claims to be waterproof. I put this setting spray to the test during a particularly humid day and my makeup remained flawless throughout. Whether you're dancing the night away or caught in unexpected weather, this spray locks in your look without budging. The application is really simple and the spray nozzle produces a nice fine mist that covers your face in a thin layer. Definitely don't forget to shake it first and don't spray too close to your face. It doesn't leave any sticky residue and dries down quite quickly. I think this is the purpose of the "alcohol denat." in the ingredient list, but I do wish this extremely drying ingredient wasn't in there as it's not great for dry skin. It also contains "fragrance", which isn't great for sensitive skin either. However, I do really like that the formula is vegan and free of parabens and sulfates.

Longevity test

i was surprised by how long it stayed on my face considering i did not touch up my face for 9 hours. i tried dapping my face with a white paper towel, but unfortunately it transferred.

I’m in awe! Lasted over 10hrs!

I wore this for the Chris Brown concert in Toronto last week and through sweat and tears from the excitement of the show, my makeup did not move one bit. I love that the nozzle is perfect and that it doesn’t feel like I just sprayed a film onto my face

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray

Thank you to @thisisbutterly and @urbandecay for sending me this mini setting spray for free in exchange for my honest review.

This has a cult following for a REASON. I’ve used this for years and even when I try something new, I still find my way back home to it. This is the only setting spray I truly trust for ultra hold in the sweltering heat (I do appreciate and love summer weddings but man, I get sweaty watching nuptials out in the sun!) and I feel like I’m less likely to need a touch up when I use this spray. If you’re looking for a dewy or matte finish, this may not be your best option but I feel like this gives a neutral finish which is so versatile. Glowy base? This isn’t messing around with it. Matte to the nines? No problem, we’re just setting and forgetting. Even if I venture out to try something new (in the name of testing!), I will always find my way back home to this setting spray.

My Favourite Setting Spray

This is hands down my favourite setting spray - it was one of my favourites back in 2019 and it still is! The mist is fine and the formula is long lasting and makes my makeup looks great. It doesn't look cakey or settle in to lines so my makeup looks fresh all day!

Solid setting spray that can handle the heat

I’ve been struggling with mascara smudging onto my under eye lately, and this setting spray has been a savior. Super easy to apply feels like on my face and definitely does what it says, and stays in place for a very long time.

Makes my makeup smudge-proof

I don’t wear a lot of makeup except on special occasions, and at those times I need my makeup to stay put. I tried this setting spray and was impressed by how budge-proof and smudge-proof my makeup was all day. It’s also comfortable to wear.
