I had purchased the product because I had heard so much hype about the product.
I purchased this item before the packaging had changed to the squeeze tube.
The product itself was alright.. nothing to write home about.
The packaging was awful! The purple rubbed off on fingers whenever I opened it, and then it would get on my face while I was applying makeup. It was so hard to get off, I vowed never to buy it again.
The way it was designed before, also made it impossible to use up all the product, because the want wouldn't fit into the curvy part of the packaging. In that sense, the product has probably improved, but I can't say anything else has changed about it.
I received a full-sized Primer Potion when purchasing Urban Decay's Naked palette this past weekend. I was excited to try it as I've always heard favorable reviews and have always used MAC's Paints as an eye primer/base. I couldn't have been more disappointed. I found the product very watery and caused my shadow to also become somewhat watery and; therefore, the product looked like it was caked on my lids. I actually had to remove my eye makeup and start over again using my trusted MAC paint. I will not be recommending this primer to anyone.
okay, i know that this primer is well loved by lots of women..im just sharing my personal experience from it. I tried using this primer basing on l the positive reviews i have read. First of all, i find the packaging cute but a little annoying as i have read and seen in you tube that majority of the product get stuck at the bottom and you have to depot it to another container...consistency is nice and it applied smoothly on my lids...but unfortunately it didnt deliver very well when it comes to making my eyeshadow last.My eyeshadow crease within 2 hours...at first i thought it might be the brand of the eyeshadow i used..but i had tried it with different brands like MAC, NYX, Smashbox...the results are all the same..i even went to you tube and ask a couple of gurus whether i was applying it properly..i even tried layering it with some paint pot to make the eyeshadow stick better but sadly i think the product just wont work very well with me.My lids arent that oily either. I still use this product occassionally when im going to the grocery or church, on occasions that im only out or expose outside for 2-3 hours..
I bought this after reading and hearing many wonderful reviews on this product. The main reason I got this is because my eyelids are fairly oily and my eyeliner never stays in place no matter what long lasting pencil/cream/gel eyeliner ( I hate liquid) I had tried (Mac Fluidline, HIP Cream Liner, UD 24/7 pencil, MUFE pencil, Stila Smudgepots, Shisedio) . I only ever place it on the top lash line and somehow after two hours it always ends up on the bottom giving me raccoon eyes. I had heard that this also increases the wear of the eyeliner as well as obviously the eyeshadow so I really had my hopes up. When I finally tried it, I really loved what it did for my eyeshadow. My eyeshadows did become more vibrant after using this and there was minimal creasing by the end of the day too. However, it did not solve my eyeliner problem. I don't think it even made any difference as far as my eyeliner was concerned. All in all, it's a great product that does wonders for eyeshadow but just didn't solve my number one problem. I have since found Smashbox Jet Set Liner which by some miracle of God is the only eyeliner I have ever tried that has not given me raccoon eyes. Yay! =)
This product is ok. I wouldn't buy it again or anything. I don't think it's worth all the hype because it's and ok primer. It dried my skin out and was a cream to powder formula so you had to put the eyeshadow on quick or it'll dry out and the primer is useless. I'm an experienced makeup addict so I can put my shadow on quickly but others might have to reapply their primer because once it's dry, it's useless. however, it works ok overall. I'd rather but too faced shadow insurance which doesn't have the notoriously shaped UDPP bottle shape which traps about 3/4 of the product inside.
