Urban Eyeshadow Primer

Friend of mine bought me this product and I fell in love instantly, not only does it go on smooth, it also pops out your eyeshadow giving you that look you always want while keeping your eyeshadow on for a long period of time.

I love the primer potion because it really brightens my eye area and makes me look awake. The primer really helps the shadow stick and not crease all day. I have oily lids and it is hard for me to find a primer that doesn't wear off; this primer stays put! My only complaint is that it can get a little messy when you apply it and blend with your fingers. It dries quickly so you have to wash your hands after applying.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

This eye primer has been a staple of my makeup bag for years for good reason. It is a wonderful, easy-to-apply texture with a fun little tube that you can use again and again to help lock-in your eye makeup. I have extremely oily lids as I have said in other reviews. Especially over a long night out where there might be dancing and frolicking, when I want my makeup to stay put I know this primer potion will do the job.

I have repurchased several times and probably will continue to do so. Shoppers drug mart carries Urban Decay products now and I have noticed they usually have a lovely little gift with purchase when you try their stuff online. I would highly recommend you give it a try.

I haven't yet sampled the anti-aging version but I am curious to try it. Maybe when this tube runs its course I will give it a whirl.

Keeps my eyeshadow on almost indefinitely

I really dislike the doe-tip applicator, I preferred it when it just squeezed out. Nonetheless, this is a great primer and has been responsible for keeping my shadow and liner in place for hours. I've tried other primers but this one is the only one that I've had work for me. Eyeshadows are still blendable after application.

C'est une des seules et rares bases qui fait tenir toute la journée mon maquillage. J'ai les paupières grasses et j'en ais tester plusieurs. Depuis que je l'ai découvert, il y a peu être 5 ans je reste tres fidèle à ce produit. (J'adore tester de nouveaux produits, je rachète rarement le même, mais celui là pas le choix cest un MUST). Il est pas si dispendieux étant donné que le tube me dure 1 ans!! Et je l'utilise tout les matins sans exceptions!! Je travail dans les cosmétiques donc pas le choix de me maquiller tout les jours.

This stuff works!!

I got a deluxe sample of this from Sephora and I love it. It provides a lasting smooth finish that makes your eyeshadows pop! I will definitely buy another!!

Good for oily eyelids.

I have been using this primer for about 2 years. It is great for providing a base for eyeshadow and bringing out more pigment from the shadow. If you have oily eyelids this is great to prevent your eye shadow from settling in the creases. It is a bit drying but I’ll settle for that if it stops eyeshadow from creasing. I would definitely recommend this product.

My eye makeup stays on all day

This Urban Decay primer is an excellent product as it allows my eye makeup to stay on for the whole day! I have oily skin too and I don't have any problems with my makeup smudging or sliding off. I don't really use the applicator wand it comes with as I just spread the product with my finger.

Unnecessary

I have tried a few different primer potions by Urban Decay, and I suppose they work quite decent but are totally unnecessary. The original primer potion gave no problems but the “minor sin” one looks weird under my eye shadow. Sparkle does come through the eye shadow with this potion (which is kind of cute) and you can see a lined shade of where you applied it on your lid, no matter how opaque my eye shadow is. I kind of hate it. I think priming my eyelid with concealer is way more effective.

Worth every penny!

This product is wonderful for making your eye shadow color pop! It goes on very fine, and does not leave much color, especially if you get the skin color shade. You then apply your eye shadow and it makes the color more dramatic, and helps it stay on all day. Definitely worth the money. It also lasts a long time!
