Preferred the original packaging and formula

Urban Decay used to sell this primer in a tube without an applicator, so you got an extra 1ml of product. The formula also seems to have changed. It seems greasy and less pigmented. I find the doe foot applicator doesn't grab a lot of product that is not oily. I wish they still sold it in a squeeze tube without the applicator because this used to be my holy grail primer.

Unnecessary

I have tried a few different primer potions by Urban Decay, and I suppose they work quite decent but are totally unnecessary. The original primer potion gave no problems but the “minor sin” one looks weird under my eye shadow. Sparkle does come through the eye shadow with this potion (which is kind of cute) and you can see a lined shade of where you applied it on your lid, no matter how opaque my eye shadow is. I kind of hate it. I think priming my eyelid with concealer is way more effective.

Better options out there

I feel like applying this has the same effect as not applying it at all. In fact, it even made my skin more oily. Instead of using this, I feel like I could have just used concealer and it definitely would have looked and felt better.

I used to love this primer years ago when it was in a tube. I felt like I had more control of how much product I put on my lid. With the new format, the doe foot applicator barely picks any product, and it's even worse when your primer begins to run low....the rest of the bottle will go to waste.

I also believe they've changed the formula. The primer used to completely intensify my eyeshadow color, stop creasing, and make my eyeshadow hold all day. Now, after a few hours in, I can already see creasing and my eyeshadow doesn't seem as vibrant. I don't know what they did but this product has gone down hill from what it originally was.

I didn't find that it was anything special, it's a smooth lotions that spreads around easily over my eye lids, it's not a thick, cream/lotion. The primer does have a light flesh tone color, however it goes on transparent on my lids. It's a primer, it made my shadows last longer, but I wouldn't pay the price for it.

This is a great primer for those with oily eyelids like me. It keeps my eyeshadow on all day without creasing or fading. You could probably find something better or just as good at the drugstore though.

I feel like maybe i'm using this wrong but i find this is much too thick to use at all on my eyes. Maybe because i am not used to wearing so much make up. overall i honestly wouldn't buy this. a regular face primer works just as well and doesn't feel like you have a ton of crap on your face.

I bought this primer because I had heard so many great things about it online and decided to give it a try. I have been using it for quite a while now, and to be honest, I'm not blown away.

Pros: When I use this product, my eyeshadow goes on smoothly, blends well, and looks great for a few hours. It goes on smoothly and feels moisturizing. A little goes a long way - the tube looks small, but it takes forever to use it all up.

Cons: Over time, I find my eyeshadow tends to crease no matter how well I do my makeup, perhaps it is just my eyelids, but for the price of this product I expected more. Applying this product feels sort of greasy on my lids, I definitely need a base eyeshadow in order for my eyeshadows to blend properly on top of this product. This primer is quite expensive.

For the money, its not really worth it to me. It works, but didn't live up to the hype. I wouldn't say fugheddaboutit because I know other people love it, but it's not for me. Next time I will try something else.

I know most people boast about this product and I usually love Urban Decay but this was kind of a let down for me. I found the product itself very water and applied unevenly even with sponges or brushes etc. Which made my eye shadows appear uneven brightness as well. I'll be sticking to my usual brand...

not happy with this product. I don't mind paying for a good product and I did a lot of research before purchasing this - in my opinion - it doesn't do the job well. My eyeshadow doesn't last as well as it used to with the previous brand I had.
