Ce fond de teint s’applique merveilleusement bien, il a une texture légère. Il a une durée de tenu hors du commun! Quand je passe ma main dans mon visage, rien ni reste, comme si je n’avais pas de fond de teint! Okay experience

I received the Urban Decay Face Bond Waterproof Foundation for free from Butterly and Urban decay in exchange for my honest review.

First of all, I love trying out new foundations so I was very excited that I was chosen to review it.

The foundation claims to be waterproof, self-setting, buildable, up to 24 hour smudge and transfer free. Also, it has 3% niacinamide to benefit your skin instantly and over time.

Let’s talk about the bottle. I love the idea of a squeezable foundation bottle. It prevents messes and wasting product.

The lightweight formula was easy to apply, as long as you didn’t leave it on your face for too long without blending it. It is buildable and does not transfer easily.

I have combination skin so I noticed that the foundation made the dry patches on my face more noticeable. However, It did cover my redness. Perhaps, this formula would work better on oily skin only.

It was an okay experience for myself but I did see a lot of good reviews on it.

Perfect for oily skin

My oily skin loves this foundation. It’s suuper lightweight, very easily blendable and lasts super long. It has a natural matte finish so the finish looks like skin and you don’t even need a setting powder to set this thing. It literally sets on its own. It’s medium buildable coverage, which I prefer, and has niacinamide which is even better since it helps with sebum control. It is one of the easiest foundations to blend and I lovee the packaging. The nozzle does not get messy since it’s shaped like a thin tube and oozes out neatly which causes no mess or waste and i love that. A must have for me.

New fave foundation!

This definitely lives up to the hype! I love how it's so lightweight yet has amazing coverage and lasts all day. I only had to use a little bit and it blends so well. Absolutely love that it has such a natural finish - as if I'm not wearing any foundation. Incredible bonus too that it has niacinamide!

Matte finish - great for oily skin!

I had the opportunity to try Urban Decay Face Bond Waterproof Foundation. Let me start off by saying that I am a light skinned, black woman with combination skin. I don’t often wear a full face of makeup, as I can get oily with foundation on. But I was pleasantly surprised that the Face Bond foundation claim of a “self-setting natural matte finish” really was true. I applied the Face Bond foundation with a sponge for a lighter, more natural application, but it’s easy to build up for fuller coverage. Two big pluses - I can confirm that this foundation is waterproof, and that the no mess dropper is super easy to use and distributes just the right amount where you need it. The shade I sampled was “22 Medium Neutral”.

Eager to try this foundation by Urban Decay after reading the benefits, it's a FOUNDATION + SERUM + SETTING POWDER.

My skin tone is a little complicated, somewhere between cool and neutral, fair and light, so most times I mix shades.

I was concerned the color might be too dark when looking at it through the container. I tested it on my wrist, which is the best place to find a color match in the real world, and it was close, "Phew."
A couple of discoveries by testing it first were that I didn't need a lot for coverage and that I needed to use it quickly because it dries fast and then it can get cakey.

Applying a few drops in the key facial focal points, I used my fingers to blend out and then a sponge to set.

One application was enough coverage for me for a natural look, but if I was planning on a more sophisticated event or evening look, I'd apply another thin layer.

The foundation made my color uniform and a blank canvas to apply my other products.

100% I didn't have the need to use a powder, it set perfectly.

As the day went on I could feel I was wearing foundation. I'd prefer it to have a little more moisture in it. After a few hours, I could see the drier parts of my skin highlighted and it sat cradling the larger pores on my chin.

I have combination skin and I wasn't expecting the foundation to change, especially so quickly since it went on so beautifully and looked nice and it's supposed to last up to 24 hours.

I recommend this for people with oily or normal skin types. If your skin has any dryness, extra pre-prep with a moisturizing cream because even though I had issues it has a great photo finish for selfies!

Lasted all day- perfect for oily skin

I loved trying out this foundation. It’s matte, but still slightly glowy. It lasted all day for me, with minimal transfer. I definitely had to exfoliate my skin beforehand for a more even canvas because I was slightly dry, but I’m sure this foundation would work wonders for someone who tends to be a bit oily.
I was gifted this shade in 4C. It is definitely a bit yellow toned, but blends out well.

Love the texture

In love with the light texture, not heavy on skin, so it is perfect t for summer and all type of skins. Smooth formula with a good coverage.
The packaging is nice too, the small bottle is perfect for travels.

Stays on all day!

This foundation is amazing! I tried it right before heading to the lake and was suprised that it stayed on all day. I was in the lake, sweating all day and it did not leave any wierd film or smudges. It is very cool to find a great waterproof foundation especially right before summer :)

Very lightweight

If you are looking for a lightweight, buildable skin tint- this is a fantastic option. It does not provide maximum coverage but it layers nicely and just adds that little extra to your skin. It does not contain SPF.
