Great long-lasting foundation that isn't cakey!

Urban Decay is a makeup brand that I know we all trust and love, including myself, so I could not wait to get my hands on their new Face Bond Self Setting Waterproof Foundation! I tried the shade Light Medium Cool as someone with a fair to medium skin tone with cool undertones. I will say off the bat that this does have more of an orangey warmer tint to it, so if you have cool/olive skin, this won't be the match for you. Once the foundation is blended out on the skin and dries down, the orange tinge does mellow out a bit.

In terms of coverage, I'd say this foundation is completely buildable! Whether you're aiming for a sheer everyday look, or full coverage and glam, this foundation has you covered. A few drops will give you a nice lightweight, breathable base that evens out imperfections. You can also layer it up to cover up blemishes, dark spots, and even acne scars without it feeling like a cakey mask.

This formula is also waterproof and long-wearing, so I put it to the test on a busy day filled with meetings, errands, and even a gym session, and it totally held up! I didn't experience any creasing, fading, transfer, and found it to be quite sweat-proof! I have very dry skin, even in the spring/summer, so the fact that the formula contains hyaluronic acid, vitamin E, and niacinamide (3%), means my skin stays hydrated, despite this foundation having a matte finish.

Thin and buildable

Waterproof foundation

Not for my skin type

I really loved the applicator. It makes it very easy to distribute the product and control how much comes out. It really is a no mess, no waste applicator that I wish more products had.
I found this foundation a bit hard to blend, maybe because the shade wasn't a perfect match. It does a pretty good job at covering up any any blemishes but it also clung and caked on to any dry spots I had making them extremely visible.
I tried the foundation on its multiple times on its own, with primer, with powder and I was left with caking and creasing each time.
I really wanted to love this foundation, but it just doesn't suit my skin type. I was a bit surprised by the results as I don't consider my skin to be that dry. It's a shame as I really do love the applicator and it didn't feel heavy on my skin.

Stays on!!

SMOOTH TEXTURE

Not a fan of foundation at all.. but this is a game changer. It’s so easy to blend, has a decent amount of coverage, and not too thick. I can wear this everyday if necessary!

The best light weight formula

I absolutely loved it. This so so light weight and sets itself on the skin. It is waterproof and good to get some light makeup look. Keeps your face hydrated and fresh all the day.

Oily skin girly this felt like nothing on my face, SO LIGHT WEIGHT! but looked so flawless at the same time. This will 100% be a go to of mine this summer with a sunscreen. This would be so above and beyond if it also had spf!!
