Not Sweat Proof at all

I live an active lifestyle so when a brand comes out with a foundation that boosts to be waterproof, sweat proof and contains no SPF I am all over it!! And being a woman with "mature skin" I am game to find a new love in the foundation department.

Thanks to @urbandecaycosmetics & @thisisbutterly I was given the opportunity to try out the Urban Decay Face Bond Waterproof Foundation (for free).

I have worn this every day since receiving it, in every kind of condition except for swimming. We had snow, sleet, rain & sun. I went on a road trip, worked out and went for a run. I work with kids and did all the mom things. So needless to say my skin goes through a butt load of crap in a day.

Now let's talk the ugly:
🚫not sweatproof - it literally ran off my face during a 5km run
🚫shows texture of skin with no coverage of imperfections
🚫felt chalky to the touch, even an hour or so after application
🚫needed a setting powder to help offset that chalky feel/look
🚫dried so much that it caked on my skin & settled into my fine lines within a few hours so I had to re moisturize numerous times through out the day (now I do live in a dry climate so that could be why too)
🚫Light transfer to my collar of my hoodies from my face

Would I purchase this when this bottle is done? To be honest I don't know. I am going to keep it for the summer months as it's light weight which is great for hot days & will come with me when I travel to Quebec this summer so maybe a more humid climate will be better.

Make up made easier

I was blown away with this foundation. It has a light coverage that is buildable. It last me a shift at work with out moving or fading, with out using setting powder. This really felt like another serum on my skin. Didn’t dry it out or feel cakey.

Lovely foundation

This is a really nice foundation and blends nicely into my skin tone. It’s waterproof and stayed freah for almost the whole day. I loved the sleek packaging too. Perfect to fit in a small bag or clutch.

Ce fond de teint est comme une seconde peau.
Je n'en mets pas beaucoup en termes de quantité mais je sens qu'il peut facilement passer d'une couvrance moyenne à une bonne couvrance.

Definitely a Game Changer

Love Love LOVE the formulation for this foundation! I used it on two separate occasions (for a friend’s wedding and reception) and I couldn’t get over how comfortable I felt with it on! The foundation is not sticky or heavy on the face - literally feels like you’re only putting moisturizer on, it’s so lightweight! It also blends into the skin with little to no effort! The foundation truly is long lasting and setting. My makeup did not budge all day regardless of all the dancing and sweating I was doing! I also love the small spout it has - makes it a lot easier to not waste product. A little goes a long way with this foundation! I’ll definitely be purchasing this product again! Would definitely recommend!

Amazing

I received the Urban Decay Face Bond foundation for free to review. I was pleasantly surprised that the shade match was perfect. I usually set my foundation with setting powder but this one says you don't have to. I love the way it looked and how it felt!

Meets all its claims

I've been using this foundation consistently for the past few days and it really does what it says. It's sweat,water,and transfer proof and (for me) looked better at the end of the day than it did after first application. I have dry skin so I was worried about how matte the foundation looked on first application but once my natural oils came through, I had a natural matte finish that didn't look greasy at all. If you're dry like me, do NOT set this with a powder. This foundation is entirely self setting but you have more than enough time to blend it out. Exfoliate your skin and moisturize properly (according to your skin type) for best results.

It’s ok for some people

I received # 8 Fair Warm but it was still too dark for my fair skin. I tried it on to test it out and it can hold up to sweat! Dries fast so be sure to apply it quickly. I feel this is better suited for oily to normal skin. Would be good at the gym or in hot humid weather.

Love that it has 3% niacinamide and does not contain any animal derived ingredients 🙌🏻 I also have super sensitive skin and it caused no irritation.

The perfect foundation

It feels great on my skin and lasts so well throughout the day. It gives me a flawless look and I don’t look like I’m wearing foundation at all. The medium coverage level is perfect.
