everybody says the truth about this palette! it's amazing, and should be a staple in every woman's makeup collection. i cannot say enough good things about this palette... it came with a mini eye primer which works great with the shadows! also, the colors are actually realistic because they are all neutral so you can use them literally, every single day!

Ever since I had the opportunity to try this palette, I have been salivating over it. It is probably THE most beautiful set of eye shadows I have ever experienced. And yes, they ARE an experience, every single one of them :-)

Super saturated colors, smooth, easy application and blending, incredible metallic sheen, a little goes a very long way. I have just requested this and ONLY this for my bday this month - I even told my family where to get it because I know where they are in stock LOL and cannot WAIT to get it in my hot little hands. I have actually dreamed of using this palette several nights in a row. How pathetic is that? haha :-) Oh well, my hobby is far more interesting and pleasurable than putting together jigsaw puzzles or collecting stamps! 7 more days til my the BIG day! I will be so upset if this isn't one of the gifts I asked for. If it isn't, I'll be going out myself to get it, immediately. It is worth every penny and then some!

I finally got my hands on this! I was ecstatic to find that my local Sephora had a couple (not on the shelf I had to ask one of the sales associates), so I snatched one up! $58 might seem like a hefty price tag for this, but when you think about it, it's 12 (almost) full sized eyeshadows, and in their new packaging a full sized eyeshadow brush that retails for $26 USD (amazing! Just like the MAC flat shader brush) replacing the old double ended eyeliner, is an AMAZING steal. I couldn't be happier with the colours; I'm a neutral, brown shadow kind of girl.

However, matte eyeshadow lovers beware, most of the shades in this palette are shimmer/sparkly.

In other words, you are buying 12 fully sized eye shadows, several of which are made exclusively for this palette for about $53 tax CAD. Typically each Urban Decay eye shadow costs anywhere around $17CAD and up. If you were buying these eye shadows individually you would be paying on average 12 x $17 = $204 tax. Instead you are paying about $53 tax and UD is throwing in dual ended eyeliner and their famous Primer Potion for free!

Quality
Urban Decay takes 'neutral' to a new level! They do neutral, not washed out. These are gorgeous matt, shimmer, sparkly eye shadows that are perfect for a day at the office, out with friends or a night out. These are super bendable colours you can mix and blend (or wear 'em alone) to create tons of new looks that are perfect for any occasion. The quality of the product is typical UD - aka very good quality. They don't crease, bleed, or do any of the other gross things that eye shadows tend to do. And if you use a primer potion under the eye shadow then you're golden.

Effectiveness
The colours range from Nude to Dark Grey Metallic. Each flatters the other for a new look every time. All of the colours are vibrant, pigmented and long lasting.

Needless to say I would definitely recommend this product to one and all. The only "con" is, because it is SO good and SUCH a deal, it's in great demand and therefore not readily available. You really have to look for this product diligently to buy it.
