Not the greatest there is
I love the colors and intensity of the Naked Palette but the huge downside is the longevity of these eyeshadows. For the price they are selling I have had better. They don't last very long on the eyes and I find myself needing to refresh my eyeshadow at least twice an evening and even more during the day. The brush provided in the kit could also be better. I love Urban Decay make up, but the naked palettes could use an improvement.
Not worth the money
While the colours in this palette are gorgeous and are a wide enough range to create different looks, the colour payout is not worth the price. After buying the first 3 naked palettes, I have stopped purchasing eyeshadows from this brand.
Meh
This palette is not worth the hype. There’s a lot of fallout and you have to use A LOT of product to get the pigmentation you want. There is a lot of palettes available for a similar price that are a much better quality.
Don't get the hype
I hate to say it, but I do not understand the hype over this product. I bought it shortly after my Naked 3 (which I absolutely love, and use very frequently), so I had high hopes. I find the pigmentation and general quality of the Naked 3 shadows better, and I just don't love the colours in this one. I thought they would be great, since they're all neutrals, but I never reach for this palette. I actually ended up giving it away to a friend because there was no point in me keeping it. I much prefer both the Naked 2 and 3 to this one, and I'm not sure I'd recommend this to someone (though I would recommend the other two). That said this is a good product for someone getting used to eyeshadow, since the pigmentation isn't amazing but they are buildable colours, making it harder to mess up.
Nice colors, not sure if I will buy it again
I really like the colors and pigmentation but I've tried better. It's also expensive for eyeshadow!!!! I'm not a big fan of Urban decay either. It's good quality though.
Overhyped, underdelivered. Save your money!
Let me start by saying I don't regret buying this. It's a greater starter pallete if you're rich. But let's face it, we can all afford to drop $66CAD + tax and perhaps shipping on a just okay product.
This, in my opinion, is the best of the Naked palette series. The colour payoff is quite good but it just simply too expensive for the quality you get. There are so many cheaper high end palettes out there that are much better quality.
Change of Mind
I got this palette when I began to become interested in makeup. I used to love it, but now have come to the conclusion that if this palette would be great for a beginner like I was then, it could have used at least three more matte shades.
Its ok
This was one of my first high end eye shadow palettes. There is a lot of pretty shades in the palette but the deal breaker to me was the glitter fall out. A lot of the shades have chunky glitter and it ruined the palette for me. Anytime I would use the glitter shadows they would fall all over my face and it would be a hot mess all day. I ended up selling the palette because of this. I am excited to try the urban decay heat palette because it looks like they dropped the chunky glitter. One good thing though is the brush it came with, I ended up keeping the brush and still use it.
I love the pigmentation of these shadows, and the overall color scheme of the palette. I wish there were more matte shades in this palette so I don't have to carry another palette for transition shades.
