This primer leaves your skin feeling super lush and smooth. It definitely provides moisture to dry skin, but may be too slick for oily skin. It glides on with a great feeling and is absorbed quickly. It did not cover my pores and fine lines as well as some other primers I have used in the past. I like the product, but for the money I expected it to work better.
I started using this primer since my pores kept getting larger. & my foundations would just sink into them, making them more & more apparent.
I liked that it was a translucence pink colour. Though if I used too much it made my foundations a bit to pink. & on very pale skin, slight colour additions can really show through.
But I found I needed more & more product to keep my foundation out of my lines & pores. Eventually the 0.94oz tub was only lasting maybe two weeks & at 37$ I couldn't keep using it.
I found it to be a bit heavy on my skin as well but it was a nice matte finish.
But over all not worth the price or the amount you get.
have tried many primers, they usually leave me oily. Since I love the eye primer, I figured I'd give this a try. I love it! No excess oiliness and makes my foundation go on flawlessly.
Urban decay primer is my go-to product for makeup. I bought a small tube at Nordstrom Rack in Seattle. Have been using it since! Its great for setting your makeup so it hangs tight for how many hours you keep it on.
I use a hint for eyeshadow as I have combination skin & the oil usually wipes away the color after half a day.
This is a great product that I use with or without make-up to even skin tone and reduce the appearance of pores. It is extremely effective and I find that at the end of the day my skin still looks fabulous without needing much touch up. I have problem skin, meaning I'm not one of those girls who looks like her skin is airbrushed. But when I use this product combined with L'Oreal's Skin Genesis pore minimizer and a dusting of mineral make-up (Bare Escentuals) my skin looks flawless and amazing. What I love about this is that I barely need any make-up to pull of a fresh and even look skin tone. One thing I have to point out is that these type of products are great when you're using them, but you can't expect that you will eventually have pore shrinkage. I don't know of any product that can reverse genetics. Any product that claims to permanently reduce pore size is lying. It's a temporary effect and needs to be used daily. Which is something I'm willing to do in order to pull off my faux fabulously-air-brushed-skin look.
