I got a sample from Sephora. I got better results with other setting powders. It claims to give an extra velvety feel, a matte finish, and more coverage. The Velvetizer makes it easy to instantly transform your complexion whenever you wan. When mixed in with my foundation, the foundation became a mousse, made me orange no matter which foundation I used and didn't add additional coverage, but looked matte. The texture of the powder does feel like velvet. I found it to be better used as a setting powder rather than mixing it in with the foundation.
