Simple but tasty!

I really enjoyed this snack and it was on sale for $1.88 in stores which is a good deal for a quick easy snack to grab on the go or stuff in my purse for my son. I like that it isn’t sticky the outside and covered in sugar or icing but just a simple cake with a nice vanilla taste.

A light, airy cake.

This simple, light vanilla cake would be a little too boring without the sweet, creamy filling. Although I personally find it slightly more dry compared to most other vachon cakes it still tastes good. I like that they are individually wrapped making them perfect for lunch box snacks. This is a Vachon classic that has been around for years. Personally I like to eat two at a time cause half a moons not enough for my sweet tooth. I need a full moon. # gotit free

If you have never tried these vanilla cake it honestly missing out on some great desserts I have always love eating the vachon Vanilla Moon cakes it has a great soft texture and taste the best I have been buy these for a long time and they are always great snacks

Our whole family loves the Vanilla flavored 1/2 moon cakes.

They are similar in taste and texture to a Twinkie.

The whole time our six year old daughter ate hers she kept saying how delicious it was.

The 1/2 moon cakes are very affordable too.

A Classic Favourite!

The Vachon 1/2 Moon Cakes are a favourite and a classic snack cake treat. The creamy centres are smooth and delicious; the cake is moist and soft. Higly recommended as a true snack cake!

I love these so much! Always have always will, they're guilty pleasure. Also hard to keep in our house to, apparently everyone else likes them just as much as me. They're moist and sweet and hit the spot!

A classic cake

We always have these cakes in our home. They make a great snack with and the kids really enjoy them after school.
They have a good sweet taste in a wonderful soft cake . We use them
For treats after a long day and the kids use them
For occasional treats in their lunch

Not bad. I'm not a big fan of sugary, artificial, store bought desserts but I don't mind these for a once in a while treat. Soft and the icing is so smooth!

Good, but...

I like these cakes, but I do find them to be a little bit on the dryer side. That being said the creme filling is tasty and has a good flavour to it. The cake is good and has a good flavour as well, but it is just a really dry texture which is why I am not a HUGE fan of these.

Bets part of this cake is definitely the vanilla icing in the middle ! not too sweet , made to perfection . Because it is 1/2 it's perfect size for dessert in a lunch box , perfect treat without feeling guilty . Love the vanilla cake , definitely compliments the cream well.
