Deliciously tasty

I absolutely loved the Vashon granny sugar tarts. They were nice sweet enjoyable tree. My son really love them too. I enjoyed the smooth sweet texture of the filling and the soft flaky crust of the shell. We enjoyed them so much we ended up buying another box on our next trip to the grocery store and they have become a regular treat product in our home.

Was hoping for a much better product!

I remember having these sugar tarts as a child, so I was excited to try the #Vachon #Sugartarts again, after all these years. Redeeming the coupon was easy as the product was in stock at the local Foodland. I have to say I was very underwhelmed by this product when I tried it. I was hoping that being named "#Granny's", it would taste at least a bit homemade. Instead it had a very thin processed crust and the filling was sweet but not very good. Although the price is better than gourmet tarts, I would much rather spend the money on a quality tart. It definitely reminded me that you get what you pay for.

EXcellent Treat

You'd never think this wasn't made fresh from the oven. The tart shell was perfect and not overly flakey. The filling was a great balance between swet and sour.

Tastey tarts

These tarts taste delicious, just like mom use to make. Very firm and just the right amount of sweetness. The whole family enjoys them. Ill be buying them again.

I never purchased this product before. I received a coupon to try it and I did and never thought I would enjoy it but it was really good. Tasted good and would purchase again in the future.

Sweet, too sweer

I received this product free to try from family rated and I was excited to try the tarts. Now I love butter tarts, and these were far too sweet for my liking. I would have never purchased these on my own as the price is far too expensive for so few tarts. I will stay with my homemade tarts.

These are by far the closest (store bought) to homemade sugar tarts that we’ve ever tried! Delicious snacks, not too sweet, and great taste! Would recommend!

I got a free product coupon to try the sugar tarts and was very impressed with the taste, size and look. I'm a big fan of butter tarts and was very excited to try the sugar tart. The filling was creamy, soft and tasty. The crust as nice and flaky.

Perfect indulgence for your sweet tooth

As a lover of Vachon Granny’s butter tarts, I had high hopes for this product and I was not disappointed. I love the flaky, golden crust. I love the sweet, creamy filling. But what Vachon has always done perfectly with their tarts is the getting the proportion of crust to filling absolutely spot on. They always get it right and that’s why this product and all of the other varieties in their line are the perfect way to indulge in a tasty treat. Would definitely recommend and will be buying again.
