From skeptical to convinced

I was skeptical to try this product because i though it was not going to have the same effectiveness and potential as the original vaporub and although this has a male scent to me, you can still smell the menthol when you rub it in your throat and chest.

I was not aware of the VapoRub Lavender until I received a sample in the mail. The timing was perfect as I had been fighting a cold for the past week. I immediately opened the jar and applied a small amount to my neck, wrists and chest. My stuffiness and cough seemed to be better right after application, and I was able to breathe again. I like the lavender scent. It is calming and pleasant. I would definitely buy the VapoRub Lavender rub over the normal menthol scented rub. I was not aware of the VapoRub Lavender until I received a sample in the mail. I have recommended this VapoRub Lavender to my friends and co-workers who all agree, this is a great product.

Continued Great Effectiveness but more Improved

Vicks VAPORUB was the one medical staple in our home as I was growing up with my seven brothers and sisters that was NEVER out of our medicene cabinet ! The container says it temporarily releives cough when appiled to throat and chest but growing up my Moma swore it broke up our most horrible of chest colds . She would also use it when we were all stuffed up due to our seasonal allergies and it would instantly open our passages and help us breathe normally to have a restful night sleep . Now its 25 yrs. later and I'm doing the same for my family but I have the advantage of this new and improved version , VICKS VAPORUB-lavender scent ! For my Electrician husbands sore muscles I apply it for him often especially his shoulders they hurt him terribly . He always says he sleeps much better on those particular evenings and believes it's due to the new lavender scented VICKS VAPORUB . I honestly don't think the smell has changed dramatically it doesn't smell real strong like lavender but neither is it near as medicinal SMELLING as it was .You just can't go wrong with Vicks Vapor- Lavender Scent , it's just a much BETTER version of the original with a great calming effect but still wonderful for the entire family's battle against winter's worst chest colds . GREAT OPTION INSTEAD OF INTERNAL COLD MEDS FOR CHILDREN. SAFE FOR AGES 2 AND UP
