My favorite body lotion by far. I like that it isn't greasy and absorbs quickly. The scent is nice too and not overpowering at all. Dry skin is practically non existent for me when I'm using this lotion. It's also great to use right after you get out of the shower and your skin is still damp. Your skin will suck it up like a sponge and will stay nice and hydrated. For the price point, you can't go wrong.
I am very fussy when it comes to body lotions and I love this one! The smell, the texture, the last effect of softness is beyond what I would expect from the price of this lotion!!
I found a fantastic sale for the Vaseline Deep Conditioning Lotion and bought a few bottles because I enjoyed the smell. Am I ever glad I did. It absorbs quickly and smells delightful. I felt like I was on a tropical beach.
I usually opt for Bath & Body Works body cream, but they have being screwing up their deliveries lately. Because of this, I have started exploring drug store brands. This has been my favourite so far! I have pretty normal skin. It doesn't get too dry, although I am an avid exfoliator. I like to use a light soap with my exfoliating gloves while I shower and then apply a thicker moisturizing cream afterwards.
This lotion goes on really nicely and isn't greasy. It's a great consistency. It's thick, but it's light enough to absorb pretty quickly. I find that the moisture stays locked in for the entire day and through to the next.
I am usually pretty terrified to try drug store brand lotions because of their overwhelming perfume-y scent, but I have become addicted to the smell of this stuff. It has a very light and powdery vanilla/cocoa butter scent. It has a bit of an aromatic effect in that it makes me super relaxed. You can wear a lot of scents overtop and they will blend nicely together.
Vaseline Cocoa butter is a thick cream and I love using it before I go to sleep. It's perfect to put on if you want to wake up with soft and silky skin. This lotion has a natural smelling scent that isn't like other really fragrancy lotions. It's for people that just want something for dry skin. The lotion is very thick, so the silky feeling lasts for hours.
This is one of my new favourite lotions for the winter season. It has a great smell, kinda of like warm cocoa and a hint of vanilla. It goes into the skin smoothly, not oily like many other lotions I've tried. It leaves your skin feeling soft, smooth, and it STAYS like that for a long time! no frequent application needed. Vaseline cocoa butter is definitely a must-have for this cold winter!
This is my go-to moisturizing lotion. Honestly, one of the main reasons is the delicious summery smell, which is fairly natural and not overpowering (good for people who like warm, vanilla-like scents). But I wouldn't keep buying it if it also wasn't effective. The lotion absorbs quickly and keeps the skin soft a long time -- even in winter! It's a great value and a product I've bought again and again.
I came here out of desperation last fall to search for a body lotion that actually WORKS to cure my terrible winter skin. This one was highly recommended so I went out and bought it. It's over a year later and now I'm into my third or fourth bottle of this stuff. It's amazing. I rave about it to everyone who will listen and I'll never consider trying anything else. I had chronically dry, itchy skin that used to start in the winter and last well into the spring but this took care of it right away and now I get compliments on how soft my skin is. I like the subtle scent and I do feel like it's evened up my skin tone a little bit. I LOVE it!!!!
TIP: I buy the 'Exact' brand from Superstore(Loblaw's, whatever) it's right on the shelf next to the Vaseline brand in a similar-styled, same-sized bottle. Except for at least $2.00 cheaper! It's the EXACT same product, same ingredients in the same order, the only downside is the bottle isn't AS pretty, but since I keep mine under the sink and I'm the only person who sees it I don't mind. It's the same thing inside, and my frugal self loves it :)
