I've eczema and it's the only lip moisturizer my doctor has recommended me. It works very well, however there's some things I don't like. I don't like the taste of it when I lick my lip after, it has a sticky feeling, and it goes off too easily.
Vaseline is a staple in our house! I have used it for years and refuse to buy no name brands! It is so versatile and has so many uses! It has stayed true through the years. Not only did I use it for my babies bottoms I use it on myself as well. It's great for healing very dry cracked skin. I have also used it to make my own lipgloss! Just melt some lipstick add some Vaseline, stir it well and you have yourself some amazing lip gloss!
I like to use this on my son's bottom as a protective barrier against diaper rash, it's very effective at that. I also like to use this for my older son when he's sick. He has a habit of licking his nose and lips and they can get to the point where it's raw.. this helps protect him and also stop licking.
I had forgotten until just recently how amazing this stuff if. Currently in my family we have 1 rash, 2 dry cracking noses, 2 chap lips and a spot of psoriasis. This stuff is literally a life changer!
I find I use Vaseline petroleum jelly from helping with dry skin on the heels of my feet. I have used it in a pinch to help take off my eye make up. I just used to the other day because my bathroom door was creaking I applied it to the hinges nowno more creaking. Works freaking awesome on so many things
Vaseline was recommended to me by my doctor because I have a dry nose and it was bleeding often. He said to put some in my nose everyday with a Q-tip. Since then, my nose is way better ! I also put Vaseline on my dry hands and it's perfect. I recommend Vaseline to everyone who have dryness problems like me.
I use this product as I am always using lotion for my hands and this size
I have in my purse. I am always washing my hands and they get dry,
even when I'm out.
It's a convenient size to take anywhere.
This was recommended to me by my dermatologist to moisturize dry skin. I also use it to protect my face when I dye my hair. I find it never breaks me out and provides a great skin barrier. It works great on eczema patches and is recommended on the National Eczema Association website.
I had heard Vaseline was good for your face as a "night cream" but always thought it would get everywhere and ruin my pillow. Nope! My skin absorbs it overnight and feels hydrated in the morning - I notice less dry skin on my face now and also use it on other areas of my body that are super dry and flaky. Definitely a hidden gem of the beauty world!
Highly moisturizing! Definitely greasy but it's so effective, I put up with it. During winter months my lips tend to chap and I usually use Vaseline to cure it.
