I received the coupon for free free vaseline sheer infusion and bought the mineral lotion. I am not a big fan of vaseline but after trying this one my view changed about vaseline moisturizers. I always complain that vaseline lotions are greasy and do not absorb readily, well this lotion proved it wrong. I found this lotion light( comparative to other vaseline moisturizers) that hydrates the skin rapidly and find it very effective for dry skin. I am not very happy with the price, still recommends it for its quality and effectiveness. So, go for it, who have dry winter skin will like it.
So I finally tried this body lotion, after receiving the coupon in the mail. (THANKS BTW) and I love it. I am usually not a big fan of Vaseline moisturizers because I find them a bit greasy, but this was not the case. It goes on light and smooth, no sticky or greasy feeling left behind. Gets absorbed and gets to work right away. Such a good product for the winter and my poor dry skin. I have definately seen improvements to my skin since I have started using it. Now I tried the botanical, and the fragrance is a bit stronger than normal, but it doesn't really last on your skin which is nice.
Pricing was a bit more expensive than others...6.49 on sale at Superstore for me but if iits a product that works, why not pay a bit more for it.
Would I recommend this to others? You bet!! My new found fave...my other lotion has been replaced.
I'm not a big fan of Vaseline moisturizers. Usually I find that they still leave my skin dry or even drier. But this product is not like that! It absorbs very well, it is non-greasy, and my skin didn't dry out and the moisture lasted leaving my skin smooth. I love the smell. I have the Mineral one, and I just can't get enough of the smell. The price is a bit expensive for a drug-store brand and for just 200mL ($9.99) but I think its worth splurging on.
I just received a coupon for this product (from ChickAdvisor to try and then review). The coupon made the product for free, but at the time of purchase, it was on sale for $7.99 - regular $9.99 at Shoppers but I', sure you can get it cheaper at Wal-Mart and then use a coupon from save.ca to save even more!
ANYWAYS! About the product - I tried the Mineral one (pink lid) and I thought the scent was nice - it wasn't too strong but it did last on my skin. The lotion itself was amazing! It made my skin so silky and it did hold up throughout the whole day into the next. Even after washing, my skin still did not dry out.
I would recommend this product, especially in the winter months! Although I would imagine it would be refreshing in the summer as well! I love Vaseline body lotions - this is the new collection and has become a new favourite :)
I Just received the product in the mail. When I went to pick up the cream at shoppers-drug-mat I couldn't decide which smell to pick because all three were smelling great. I choose mineral because I have tried vitamins in other creams and i wanted to see how mineral will work with my skin. Its winter and my skin gets very dry. When I tried the Vaseline It felt great on my skin. It didn't feel greasy at all, and my skin was filling moisten. It also kept my skin moisten throughout the day without the high perfumed smell that some moisture do.This Vaseline cream did what it said it would do. I definitely recommend this cream for anyone with very dry skin. But for the price I am not too sure about, then again it is worth it.
Okay, so I finally went out to buy the Vaseline Sheer Infusion. I smelled all the them. And Truthfully, they're a bit strong, so I chose Mineral. And I gotta say, I LOVE IT! I put it on an extra dry area of skin like about half an hour ago. I usually have to apply around this time, but not anymore. It's still moisturized. (Yeah, I just checked) so, the lotion goes on, it feels kind of watery but it doesnt dry up. It's not oily or greasy. It just sucks right up in. And I think that it will take a long time to use up a bottle, thankfully, because it was $9.99 CAD at Shopper's Drug. The smell is soothing and I have eczema, meaning sensitive skin and its not killing me or anything like regular moisturizers. I'm not sure if it'll sting on cuts.. But it's awesome and you should totally try it. You don't need a lot. A pea sized amount for me can just moisturize ALMOSTa quarter of my arm, maybe more? Well, anyways. I recommend you try it and I WILL buy it when theres a sale. For sure.
PS: THANK YOU CHICKADVISOR!!!!
I just got this cream in the mail and I'd like to say THANK YOU! This cream is amazing! I have a huge problem with dry skin in the winter on my arms and legs. Most intensive moisturizers make my skin super-greasy on top and does not quench it. Vaseline Sheer Infusion moisturizes all layers of my skin and stops it from feeling dry and flakey. It also smells great! One downside is the price; it is $9.99 at Shoppers Drug Mart. Thank you.
I have tried other moisturizers from Vaseline and I would have to say that this works the best for keeping my skin moisturized overnight, especially in the winter when the heat dries the skin. I agree that the price is a bit over the top for a 200 ml size product. The scent is also overpowering. As someone who is sensitive to fragrances I would love it if they have the product in an unscented or lightly scented version.
I just got my moisturizer, I love it. It is light and creamy. It does not feel wet or sticky after application, it absorbs nicely into my skin leaving my skin feeling quenched but not dirty, as I have found with other moisturizers.
