I received Vaseline Sheer Infusion in the "Vitamin" scent* as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. There were two full-sized tubes (200 mL) of the same scent, beautifully packaged in a good quality white hat box -- quite impressive :)

I was intrigued by this product because of its claim as a "breakthrough in body lotion". I don't know if it's truly a breakthrough but their claim that this lotion does a great job of moisturizing your skin (and not just sitting on the surface) does hold up. The lotion absorbed quickly but lasted a long time and made my skin feel very moisturized. It goes on well (not too thick, not too thin -- the texture of the lotion was "just right") which is important to me.

At first, I wasn't too keen on the "Vitamin" scent -- I tend to prefer "cleaner" fragrances (i.e., citrus) -- but after a few uses, the smell grew on me. It's a light floral fragrance, very pleasant and not overpowering. (However, were I to purchase this lotion, I would probably go for the "Botanical" scent :)

I checked my local drugstore and the 200 mL tube of Vaseline Sheer Infusion is priced at $8.99 -- this is a bit on the steep side (compared to some of the Curel products which are better value and give excellent results). If you were to apply this everyday, it wouldn't take you long to go through a 200 mL tube!

All in all, I would recommend this lotion as it does live up to the claim of providing superior moisture.

(*As an aside, the naming of the three different varieties differs between Canada and US. In Canada, they are simply Vitamin, Botanical and Mineral while in the US, they are Vitamin Burst, Botanical Blend and Mineral Renewal...not sure why...?)

Vaseline Sheer infusion is a great moisture therapy! I have really dry skin in the winter and this has helped. the price is a little expensive, I'd recommend to purchase it with a coupon.

I received this product as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I was, first of all, impressed by the packaging it came in : a big round box (like a hat box). That was awesome guys!

As soon as I opened it I tried it. My legs are already getting flaky (sorry girls, I now it's kind of disgusting) after I shave them since the weather is getting colder and colder. The smell really got to me. I thought it was just perfect:not too flowery, not too sweet, clean and fresh. I didn't expect that much of a cooling sensation. It lingered for more than 10 minutes. It was as thought I felt it going deep down, where the moisture needed to be. It absorbed very quickly. So quickly I had the urge to put some more but the moisturizing sensation was there and the softness of my legs to prove it!!

I am very happy with it and will buy it again but maybe if it's on sale. I will recommend it.

I tried this and like it alot, because it leaves my hair nice after a shower. I usually have to wait a few days for my hair to calm down but with this shampoo it kind of just naturally stays nice.

The package is easy to open and comes out smoothly. Nice smell and smooth texture. I found that it left a bit of a "film" on my skin compared to some of my other lotions and it did not absorb as well as I would like, particularly on my hands. It seems to work okay on my legs but I agree with the comments made by a previous reviewer that there are better brands out there.

L'Occitane is one of my holy grail lotions and it does wonders on the really dry skin on my hands and feet. I compared the Vaseline to that one, and the Vaseline one did not absorb as well and was not as good for the really rough/dry areas.

Overall it's an average lotion but the price point is quite high. I'd wait for a coupon or sale to try it.

This lotion is quite effective at moisturizing and stopping scaly skin. It has a pleasant smell and performs well. Price too high. Scale 1-10; It would be a 7.

I received two bottles of the Vaseline Sheer Infusion Body Lotion for for the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I have a habit of comparing any body lotion that I purchase to my favourite L'Occitane Ultra Rich Body Cream. For me that is the ultimate body cream. The body lotion worked very well. My skin felt silky to the touch. I had two complaints with the product. I received two bottles of the Vitamin body lotion. I would have like to have received two different scents. I found the scent very masculine. Secondly, my hands had a waxy feel have using the body lotion.

I got this through the product review club. I use body cream religiously and I've tried all different kinds. I loved the smell of this cream and it absorbed quickly. It moisturized well and wasn't greasy. I did think it moisturized for the whole day. My only downside would be that the bottle is pretty small and I did have to use quite a bit each time, so I don't think this would last as long as some of the lotions that offer more product for a cheaper price - however they might not do as good of a job. As long as you like the citrus-y scent, this is the product for you!
