I love this lotion. I am an avid Vaseline lotion user and have been using for years, but I find the Sheer Infusion line to have a better texture and smell. It's thinner than their regular regular lotion, but somehow richer! It smooths and absorbs into skin faster and I really like the smell (smells like a more expensive lotion). I was able to find it at Dollerama for only $2!!! Best find ever!!! Highly recommend!
I have been a die hard Olay Quench Fan since it came out and as I was walking by the Shopper's Drug Mart, I noticed they were having a clearance sale and I bought 2 (200mL) bottles of this lotion for $1.99 each, not thinking it was going to be anything special. I am not a huge fan of Vaseline lotions, but I am a sucker for a good deal.
It is so light, fresh and clean feeling. No greasy after effects. I can touch things without leaving a greasy fingerprint! It almost feels like talcum powder..
I enjoy the smell. It is faint and not overpowering. For some reason it reminds me of fresh laundry smell, which happens to make me feel happy and brighten my day.
As much as I really enjoy it, I will still be using my Quench as I have to reapply the Sheer Moisture several times during the day, but I am okay with that due to the unexpected perk of the happy vibes I feel when I put it on.
After trying it, I immediately regretted not buying every single bottle on the table. I feel it will be a staple product in my collection. Most definately worth a try. I bought the Botanical and the Vitamin. One smells like sun and one smells like spring to me. Love them both.
Vaseline Sheer Infusion Body Lotion — Our family uses a lot of lotion...especially with winter coming. I am the kind of person who washes their hands at least a dozen times a day. Between dishes, laundry, Grayson's bath, cooking, regular cleaning, etc., it seems as though I am constantly washing & drying my hands. It has totally taken a toll on my skin, and I have had a hard time finding a good lotion to help repair the damage...until now.
Vaseline Sheer Infusion with Stratys-3 claims to be a breakthrough in moisturizing technology, and I couldn't agree more. It stands out from your typical lotion because it caters to all the layers of your skin, not just the top.
Vaseline Sheer Infusion with Stratys-3 is available in 3 varieties: Vitamin Burst, Botanical Blend, and Mineral Renewal, and comes in 2 sizes - 6.8 oz. bottle & 13.5 oz. pump bottle running from around $7 - $12. I can honestly say, this is the best lotion I have ever used. All 3 varieties have a nice scent...Mineral Renewal being the most feminine. In my opinion (and my husband's), the least feminine is the Vitamin Burst, and it is my husband's favorite...he's already confiscated it. I don't really have a favorite, but am leaning more towards the Botanical Blend. The scent lasts hours after applying...it's a little strong, but I can live with it. All varieties moisturize wonderfully and leave no greasy residue. I've also noticed that I don't need to reapply every time I wash my hands, which I absolutely love. I've been using this lotion for about a week now, and my skin is so soft. The damage to my hands is almost completely gone, and the dry skin on my legs, feet, and elbows is now silky smooth
absolutly amazing ,best lotion I have tried not greasy and has a very nice smell,
best of all my hubby likes the way it makes my skin so soft
I loved this product!!
The first time I tried it, I had gotten a coupon for a free trial bottle (full size) to be redeemed at my local drugstore (I think that the price would have been around $6 or $7 CAN at Shoppers without the coupon) and immediately tried it out at home. I bought the lotion in the "Vitamin" scent (with the orange stripe on the bottle) because the label says that it has Vitamin E and I've heard that that's very good for your skin (provided that it can sink in, many labels say that they contain "so and so ingredients that are good for your skin" but if they cannot penetrate the cell membrane, then those ingredients are useless; I didn't know if the ingredients can claim to do that, but I bought it anyways).
First of all, I started using it in the wintertime (my skin is VERY dry during this time of year, it gets very flaky and sometimes even scaly) and I LOVED it. It is a thick gel cream like substance and what I loved about it is that it sinks into your skin, moisturizes it, doesn't leave a greasy feeling, AND provides long lasting moisture. Trues to its claim, after regularly using this lotion for a few days, I can feel that my skin is more hydrated, and so after a couple uses, I begin to need to use less lotion.
It has a very light scent (smells floral and doesn't bother me, even though I'm very picky with fragrances) and while it doesn't really fade away, because it's so light, you don't really notice it.
The packaging is alright - it comes in a squeeze tube with an opening at the bottom, like some other drugstore creams and lotions. But even though it's a very unassuming bottle it truly works!! I have already bought two bottles as backups at a warehouse sale.
I would definitely recommend this to people who suffer from dry skin. It is a little bit pricey for a drugstore lotion, so try to pick it up when it's on sale but even if it isn't, I would still recommend for you to try this!! :)
Beautiful lotion, would highly recommend it to friends and family. No stickly after feeling, nice and silky.
This is one of the most amazing drugstore lotions i've ever used!
Although it may not be moisturizing enough for my rough and cracked hands,
it does wonders to my body!
the lotion stays on for a good 24 hours and no re-application is needed!
I have very dry skin and without lotion, my legs have a snake-skin pattern
but this lotion moisturizes deep into the skin and leaves my skin feeling silky smooth for the entire day! =D
