medium coverage for a heavy price

My friend gave me a full unit of this foundation because she accidentally bought a shade too dark for her own skin (lucky me!). For over $30 for 1 fluid oz, it's expensive. I do like the medium coverage and it doesn't make the skin appear cakey. Unfortunately for me, it does not meet my needs. I have cystic acne and uneven skin/scarring, and I need a foundation with more coverage. I also don't think it has SPF which to me, detracts from the usefulness of the product. I only like to put one "cream" on my face in the mornings to save time & money.
