This is a messy product tat does not work. If you are lucky enough to get it to the point that you can spread it, it doesn't remove more than a couple of hairs, leaves a sticky mess wherever you applied it.
I tried this product for the first time a couple weeks ago. I was really excited but ended up getting disappointed. Although it took a good chunk of the hair off my legs, it also took some skin along with it. This product just isn't for me and I wouldn't go out and recommend it either.
hmm this was okay and sort of works but the whole warming it up between your hands doesn't seem to get it that warm or maybe i just have cold hands. seems to leave alot of hair. and then doesn't seem to stick if you try to immediately stick it back on. will stick with shaving
These are the wax strips I started to use when I first began waxing and I think they work pretty well. I would use these wax strips to wax my upper lip and eyebrows. I would cut these into tinier strips and place on my upper lip or eyebrow and wax it. I found these to be more effective than the regular veet ones that are designed for your face. I think if your a beginner and looking for something to start off with these are definitely it. There is no technique needed to be learned when using these because there fast and easy and the instructions are on the box. I still buy these from time to time because they work well!
I was expecting more from these strips. They work fairly well...especially for ready to use strips. I got a few as a sample and I would probably try them again however they definitely aren't as good as the real thing.
Absolutely love these wax strips for my eyebrows and upper lip. They work very well, even if they are a bit pricey, but still a lot cheaper than a trip to the salon.
I bought Veet's EasyGrip Ready-to-Use Wax Strips with Aloe Vera on sale, so it was a good deal. I've seen this wax on sale at lots of places - Walmart, the Real Canadian Superstore, London Drugs, etc - so don't feel as though you have to buy from Shoppers at their really overpriced price.
Before Veet, I had used Parissa's Wax Strips, but after receiving the Veet sample pack, I decided to try out Veet. Whereas I could only squeeze out 2 waxes per strip with Parissa, with Veet, I could do half a dozen, or more - amazing! The first 2 waxes with Veet are the easiest, but after that, if you press/rub down well enough (I use the side of a comb), you can do another 5 waxes, with the same effectiveness.
As with the claim of "up to 4 weeks of smoothness", I've NEVER had that with ANY waxing experience. The hair is back within a week, and I'm pretty sure that my technique isn't to blame - I've watched videos, followed instructions, and have waxed many times. I think my hair simply breaks most of the time, or I haven't waxed diligently enough to sync up the growth of my hair (if there is such a thing). Also, despite its claims, these wax strips aren't very effective at removing short hair, so it's hard to achieve perfect smoothness with waxing alone.
I have yet to try other waxing products as I've discovered the joy of shaving, but if I had to go out and buy more wax strips, I would definitely go back to Veet. I've heard that between Veet and Nair, Veet wins out, and based on my experience with Veet, there's no question for me. Just try to have another type of wax-removing oil at hand (I love Parissa's oil) as Veet's "Perfect Finish Wipes" are a joke - they're rough on the skin and it's hard to fully use up the oil, causing you to open another Finish Wipe. As such, you'll definitely use up the Finish Wipes before you use up the wax strips.
Tip: use a blowdryer to heat up the wax before you peel them apart - it's easier than rubbing them between your hands and warms the wax better this way.
Amazingly good! I find with some at home wax strips they only remove some hair, these with little body heat effectively removed all the hair and the finish wipes work great as well!
I usually use the Nair Cire Divine no strip wax but recently had an emergency and this is all that was available. So I tried it out, followed the instructions and got horrible results. I found that hairs were left behind and that mainly the wax stays behind on your skin. It does not do a great job at all. I mean at least the hair that was removed hasn't grown back, but the work and effort that had to be put into it... save yourself and buy something else!
