I absolutely despise this product. I have used other Veet products in the past (mainly the creams and the salon facial wax strips, which I swore by at one time) so I didn't think twice about buying this product. I have used it three times and have been completely dissatisfied each time. The first time I used it on my bikini line and it left a whole bunch of hairs that I had to pluck out. The second and third times I used them on my upper lip with disastrous results. BOTH times the texture of the wax is what can only be described as gooey; it stuck to my skin and when I removed the strip it looked like I had stuck gum on my face and tried to pull it off (hopefully you can get the visual effect I'm going for here). Tons of wax stayed on my face and when I went back with the strip to take it off, to my horror, it look the top layer of skin off with it, BOTH times. Needless to say I will not be using this product ever, EVER again. I am extremely unimpressed and will probably refrain from buying any other Veet products in the future, despite my previous good experiences with them.

I found that Veet Facial Wax Strips and Perfect Finish Wipes do just as good of a job as the more expensive brands do, only at a way cheaper price. They get rid of those hairy patches on your face that we all get sooner, or later, but all hate! The smaller wax strips work well on the harder to reach areas on your face and can be used on other area’s of your body. All you have to do is smooth the wax strip onto your skin and then remove it with one good pull. If any residue remains it can be wiped it off using the finishing wipes, or a warm wet cloth. Veet wax strips can remove unwanted hair as short as 2mm, so you don’t have to wait until you look like your husband to use them. The package contains twelve wax stripes and three perfect finishing wipes. I’d recommend Veet Facial Wax Strips to anyone wanting to get rid of unwanted facial hair and not pay big bucks to do it.

I was amazed by how well these strips worked on my skin. I normally have sensitive skin so it's usually difficult for me to try these sorts of things by myself. I used to go to the spa every 2 weeks and spend 50 dollars on facial waxing. They had to use hard wax on me since it made my skin less red afterwards, but it wouldn't take all the hair away and I'd notice growth a few days later. With the Veet strips, it was the easiest thing I've ever done. I rubbed them in the palms of my hands for 10 seconds to warm them up, then I peeled the strip apart and placed the wax side on my upper lip. I pressed and ripped off the strip. It didn't hurt and the redness lasted much less than normal. My skin didn't become bumpy and there was no irritation. LOVE THIS PRODUCT!

I've been using Veet wax strips for quite awhile now, and for me, they work wonderfully. Of course, a little pain is to be expected when dealing with wax, but the results of smooth skin are worth a few seconds of pain. I use the sensitive strips on my bikini area, and sometimes I do my legs, too. The wax can be a bit "messy", but not nearly as complicated as heating up wax yourself. Sometimes I have to go over the same area twice, but usually the strip gets most of the hair on the first go. The only complaint that I have is that the product advertises that it works on "short hair'. I find that I have much bettter results when the hair is a bit longer, and I don't have to go over the area twice. Overall, I definitely recommend this product if you prefer to wax in the comfort and privacy of your own home.

Love these, they work like a charm! I have not ever gone back to shaving after discovering Veet.

I did a comparison too, I bought the following: Andrea, Nair, Parissa and Sally Hansen. Used all of them (obviously not at the same time) and Veet was the winner. I know a lot of people love Parissa brand, but I find that it leaves stickiness on the skin and needs to be rubbed off extra hard. Veet is smooth and the after wipes are beyond wonderful.

I would strongly recommend this one. Check out my legs for reference ;)

Update: Just read the other reviews...and I don't understand why it didn't work for these ladies. Being able to wax properly comes with experience and I find that this product definitely does the job.

I agree with the other reviewers. This product simply doesn't work. The only thing it has going for it is the convenience, which is why I give it 2/5 stars. I must say they are a little better than some other ready-to-use brands, but not enough that I would use them regularly.

If you're going to give yourself a wax, I'd suggest the hot wax that you apply with a spatula - messy and inconvenient, but works much better. The ready-to-use bikini and face strips from Veet, on the other hand, are a good pick for me. Maybe it's just the smaller amount of wax?

Best option? Seriously consider an epilator. I swear by mine (and have rated it here on the site).

I hate shaving, so I figured I would give these a shot. I like the idea that the wax is already on the strips and that it's not very messy. There's no heating required (just rubs the strips between your palms), and the strips can be re-used. All qualities that I liked. These though, did not make up for how I feel about the product. I don't think I'll ever use these again. First off, ouch! Of course a bit of pain is expected to come with waxing, but the pain wasn't worth the results. After pulling off the strip, there was still hair left behind! Since you're not supposed to use the strip over the same spot more than once, I had to shave the leftovers in the end. I've never had a problem with my skin being sensitive, but I found with these, my legs were red and sore until the next day. So far I'm sticking with my razor.

I bought these cause I wanted to try something different and they were on sale. I found them easy enough to use the problem was that they didnt really work all that well and I tend to have pretty sensitive skin... so I only got through a small patch of my leg before I got something that was very close to hives. Even after though, I noticed there was a lot of hair left in the patch that I tried. I think I would recommend just going to get this done at an esthetics place or finding a better product, especially if you have sensitive skin.
