This made me bleed
Not sure why but when i used this on my underarms, it made me bleed. Not gonna recommend this to anyone sadly. It’s also not easy to use in my opinion. I prefer the veet hair removal creme.
Nope. Nope. Nope.
I don't know where to begin. I have used wax strips for years on my upper lip. Loved the Nair Soft Touch green apple glitter strips. But they are hard to find anymore. I bought a big box of the Veet face & bikini strips, thinking 'How different could they be?" Ummmm....WAY different! The wax is hard and takes a lot of rubbing the strips between your hands to make it pliable. Sure, it rips out the longer and thicker hairs with ease but leaves the finer hair behind. The after waxing wipes are hard and hurt when you use them over the sensitive, newly waxed skin. Not to mention they do not stay moist at all. So 2 wipes per box just isn't enough. I waxed yesterday and today used a honey mask...and it burned over the waxed area! Never had that happen with the Nair product and this same mask! So. I am done with Veet products. I will grow a hairy lip if I have to.
This is a messy product tat does not work. If you are lucky enough to get it to the point that you can spread it, it doesn't remove more than a couple of hairs, leaves a sticky mess wherever you applied it.
I usually use the Nair Cire Divine no strip wax but recently had an emergency and this is all that was available. So I tried it out, followed the instructions and got horrible results. I found that hairs were left behind and that mainly the wax stays behind on your skin. It does not do a great job at all. I mean at least the hair that was removed hasn't grown back, but the work and effort that had to be put into it... save yourself and buy something else!
I agree with the other reviewers. This product simply doesn't work. The only thing it has going for it is the convenience, which is why I give it 2/5 stars. I must say they are a little better than some other ready-to-use brands, but not enough that I would use them regularly.
If you're going to give yourself a wax, I'd suggest the hot wax that you apply with a spatula - messy and inconvenient, but works much better. The ready-to-use bikini and face strips from Veet, on the other hand, are a good pick for me. Maybe it's just the smaller amount of wax?
Best option? Seriously consider an epilator. I swear by mine (and have rated it here on the site).
I hate shaving, so I figured I would give these a shot. I like the idea that the wax is already on the strips and that it's not very messy. There's no heating required (just rubs the strips between your palms), and the strips can be re-used. All qualities that I liked. These though, did not make up for how I feel about the product. I don't think I'll ever use these again. First off, ouch! Of course a bit of pain is expected to come with waxing, but the pain wasn't worth the results. After pulling off the strip, there was still hair left behind! Since you're not supposed to use the strip over the same spot more than once, I had to shave the leftovers in the end. I've never had a problem with my skin being sensitive, but I found with these, my legs were red and sore until the next day. So far I'm sticking with my razor.
