I tried the traditional way of waxing: heating the wax in the microwave and then using cloth strips. Then washing the strips later to reuse them (honestly, I mostly threw them away. To my defense the wax was very difficult to get off!). Then a friend of mine introduced me to Veet wax strips. Three words: SO. MUCH. BETTER!

You can cut the strips to the length you need. Stick it on, rub it well and pull! No mess, no spilled wax, no burning yourself, no heating, nothing! Just nicely waxed legs.

I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to wax at home without the mess.

These wax strips works pretty well! I usually shave but sometimes I like to wax my arms and legs so I can keep them smoother for longer. These wax works pretty well but I think it really depends who does the waxing that will make a big difference.

As most girls I know, I HATE shaving my legs! As well my hair grows so fast if I want smooth legs I have to shave almost every 2 days to keep them silky. So one day while browsing for a new solution to this hairy problem I discovered these Veet Salon Line Wax Strips that were ready to use! To my excitement I bought them hoping this would be the end to my shaving. I read all the instructions and got my boyfriend ready to pull. RIP!! my boyfriend pulled off the first strip at the base of my leg. It was so painful. Even worse than going to a salon and getting it done by a professional. In addition to the painful experience I was left with splotchy hair the the strip just would NOT pull out no matter how many times we tried, how many new wax strips we used, no matter how long we tried to heat the strips up between our hands. After a leg and a half of the painful waxing I finally gave up and reluctantly went to the bathroom and finished shaving the parts that the wax did not pull out. I mean the "actual" waxed portions of my legs did not gro back for three weeks but I don't really want to have to shave in addition to this every day just to acheive the smooth feeling. In my mind it was a waste of time and my money as I would not reccomend this product. I also bought the strips for my bikini line but did not end up using them as the leg strips did not do their job.

These strips are so easy to use and virtually painless! They're great because you can buy the longer strips and just cut them into smaller pieces if you want. I used to spend around $50 every 6 weeks or so at the salon for a bikini wax, and these are much better cost-wise. They even work great for underarms.

If you've never been waxed before though, try it at a salon first. The amount of pain you (might) feel is dependent on your personal tolerance.

After trying all the different products available at my local store I will stick with this one. It is very easy and it gets all the hair the first time. I find that it doesn't work the second time but that is OK. This comes in small strips for facial hair or larger for legs or bikiini areas. It works extreamly well for either area. Hair removal this way keeps me hair free for a long time. I find this very cost effective.

I haven't really tried a lot of different wax strips products so i can't really compare this to others. But for a newbie, this product is pretty easy to use. You take it out, rub it between your hands a little and then just apply it to the area. It does work really well in removing hairs and small hair. You can buy the packs with big strips or the ones with smaller ones. They both work really well. On the down side, although they tell you you can reuse the strip until it doesn't stick anymore, i find that i never really get any hair the second time around. So it's really only for 1 - 2 use. Overall, if you're a newbie like me you can try this out.

I find this is an extremely effective product for performing bikini waxes. It does a great job of removing even short hair without having to mess with wax, applicators and separate wax strips. The strips can be reused until covered and it doesn't irritate the skin. A great product for those who are wax novices or who want to wax in a hurry.
