I did not like vega one products at all. I hated the taste and had to mix it in strong smoothies to cover it up. Even then I couldn't always use the whole scoop. It has more sugar then some I like. I have found cheaper products that I like way more!
I received my Vega One Nutritional Shake for free from their web site. I'm really not sure how much it sells for. The one they sent me was the vanilla Chai flavor, or at least that’s what it said it was. They say their shakes are supposed to be good for your body and for the planet. It is supposed to have 50% of you daily intake of vitamins and minerals, 15g of protein, 6g of fiber, 1.5g Omega 3, Antioxidants, proboscis and greens. It’s also free from dairy, gluten and contains no added sugar, artificial flavors, colors, or sweeteners. All you have to do is add water and shake it very, very well. I’m not the type that normally drinks these types of drinks, so I was pretty surprised to see it turn to a green color when I added the water! It almost looked like I took grass clippings from my yard and added them to my water. But I was still willing to give it a try just to say that I had and thought who knows, even though it looks pretty gross to me, it just might taste pretty good. Well my first sip surprised me, it wasn’t all that bad. I could taste a slight taste of vanilla in it, but it was very slight. It wasn’t what I would call grainy although it looked to have grass floating around in it. So I took a bigger drink. That was my first mistake! The more I drank of the Vega One Nutritional Shake the worst it tasted to me and I had to dump it out. I’m not big on all these nutritional products even though I probably should be, so this just wasn’t for me. I think it’s an acquired taste and just not for everyone and this is why I gave it the grade that I did. However if you are into nutritional shakes the Vega One Nutritional Shake’s would be something you might like to try.
