I purchased this unit for use camping i'm very pleased.

I purchase the monitor one night at Wal-Mart to use camping,it was very inexpensive. At first I was a little leery about how good it would work but to my surprise the distance the monitor clearly picks my daughter's voice as she is supposed to be napping. It really is amazing im surprised it actually goes as far as my expensive monitors I bought in the past. of course there's a little crackling if you get too far away from base. I'm very pleased with my purchase I would recommend.
