I found the awakening eye balm to be very greasy and it lastedoesn't all day. Wasn't a big fan of that. I worked alright I could see my bags under my eyes looked at little less puffy. Still dark underneath. I would buyou this product.
I wanted to love this product because I recieved it for free from Vichy and chick advisor, but honestly I just didn't love it. It was greasy and it didn't do anything for my eye area. I used it as directed but unfortunately I didn't have any results.
I really wanted to like this, but it irritated the skin around my eyes after the third use. It would probably better suit someone with less sensitive skin. That being said, it seems like a really great quality eye cream, it just wasn't right for me.
I received this product as part of the Product Review Club.
Another good cream from Vichy, great smell, great texture and application on the skin. It's light and doesn't leave the skin sticky. I feel hydrated after using it and it's refreshing. I would recommend it!
I have mixed feelings about this, it took away a bit of the puffiness but i didnt se much of a difference, i really like the texture, the way it feels, it sinks in nice in the skin but it didnt do much for me but i still like the product.
I received this product free as part of the ChichkAdvisor Product Review Club. The texture of this balm felt similar to a primer, in that it was thick and a little gooey. The instructions did note that it could also be used as a makeup base. Following the instructions on the box, I "kneaded" the balm into my browbone and undereye areas. While I didn't really notice much of a difference to the areas, the balm was a refreshing wake-up as part of my morning routine. I can't say that I would necessarily go out and repurchase this item, as it really just seemed...ineffective and to be honest, quite pointless. I may continue to use it as a primer, however.
I am not a big user of eye balm because I do not have use of it. I do not really have puffy eyes and I'm a stay at home mom so if I do have puffy eyes I don't really care. But I still liked this product as much as the others.
I really enjoyed trying out this product. I found it helped with the darkness under my eyes but it took almost four weeks to really show anything. At this point now I do really enjoy using it and adding it into my beauty regime. I will mostly likely buy again just to see if long term use will have more beneficial benefits and see where it goes from there. I do recommend giving it a try though. It spreads very well and the bonus of that is you don't need to use too much so the product lasts longer.
The Aqualia Awakening Eye Balm was good for hydration, however it did not seem any better then others I have tried over the years and in addition I did not notice a reduction in puffiness. It did not deliver as well as the serum did. I do not think I would repurchase. I found it to be average. However, I would repurchase the serum and cream from the Aqualia line and substitute another eye cream. If you are looking for a hydration balm, I would recommend it, but it did not fully deliver on its target of reducing puffiness.
I was sent this wonderful Aqualia trio by Vichy to test and review. The Aqualia Thermal Power Serum, Aqualia Awakening Eye Balm as well as the Aqualia Thermal Light Cream. As a thirty something mom of three (who still does not sleep full nights) I am always looking for great skin care products that do not require a high maintenance schedule. This trio with some slight modifications was a quick, simple, no fuss routine that addressed most of my skin concerns. My skin profile would be normal to combination and I was looking to address hydration and some first signs of ageing. I carefully looked over all the information and recommendations for each product and followed the full regiment for four weeks. After the first week I made a slight modification as my skin was feeling greasy after using both the serum and cream in both the am and pm so I modified my regiment to use the serum in the morning and the cream in the evening as using both in the am and the pm was took much for me. I thought that would do the trick and it was ok for a couple days however by the third week I stopped using the cream in the pm as well as my skin was fully hydrated with just the serum and accompanying eye balm alone. I was very impressed. While I know the cream is meant to be used daily I would actually use it as an accompanying treatment every couple days which is what I did in week four and I have found the perfect balance for my skin. I have always loved Vichy products and their Aqualia line is no exception and the serum is by far a new favourite for me. I would definitely repurchase the serum for daily use. I LOVE the silky smooth texture of this serum. It is one of the best I have every tried. It melted into my skin and left it hydrated all day with no greasy residue. #vichyworksforme
I've been using this diligently morning and night, hoping it would help alleviate my under eye bags. Though it didn't do anything for the bags, it helped depuff my eyes in the morning so that's a plus. If you're younger and need some light hydration and depuffing for your under eyes, then this is perfect for you. But since I'm 27 I think I'll be investing in an eye serum targeted more towards dark circles and fine lines.
