96% OF CHICKS DIG IT
Well.. This may be one of the most disappointing Vichy product I've tried so far.. I wanted to love it so much, but did absolutely nothing for my skin. I did not feel like this product made my skin softer nor smoother than other product I have used in the past. For me sadly, this is a no go.
Disclaimer: I have received this product free for testing purposes from ChickAdvisor in exchange of my honest opinion.
I was one of the people selected to try out this product along with the serum and eye gel. I have combination skin, so I found that around my dry areas it worked well, but in my oily areas it was too heavy for me. It left me shiny a few hours after applying it. I actually found that it was starting to make me break out so I stopped using it during the day. I continued using it in the evening and found it was better as a night cream for me, I would wake up and my face still felt clean and hydrated. I would recommend it for people that don't have overly oily skin.
I did not like this product, the smell was so strong and it actually stung when I applied it to my skin. It also does not absorb quickly leaving my skin feeling greasy and the more I rubbed it into my skin I found it would "pill" it also did not allow my foundation to go on evenly.
I received this product to try for free from Chick Advisor. I was excited to try this line and I am glad I had the opportunity. I have combination skin with a few fine lines.
This moisturizer was my least favourite of all of the products I tried. While the packaging is beautiful and it has a nice mirror on the lid, I found the scent to be overpowering. The texture of the cream is light and nice to touch but I really disliked the way it felt on my skin. It felt heavy and like it just sat on top of my skin. My skin felt smooth but it was more of a barrier than an absorption. Like a layer of silicone on my face. By the end of the day, my makeup was falling off my face and it was a greasy mess. After continued use, my face broke out and I feel this cream was the reason. If not for the smell, it might be a great winter cream but as an everyday average cream, I would not buy it.
I received this product free from chick advisor and overall I really like it . It's very moisturizing and you only need to use a little. I did feel that it was a little oily. I enjoyed using this cream for quite a while and put it on every morning. But after a couple of weeks my face started to break out. Not sure if it's because of the cream or whether the breakout coincided with super hot weather. I stopped using it for now until my face settles down, but I will definitely reuse it once everything clears up.
This is NOT a light cream. Left my face greasy and felt overused even though I only used a small amount. Would be great for super dry skin, but makes normal skin oily.
The Vichy Aqualia Thermal Light Cream I think would be better if applied during the rough winter months. I have combination skin and although the cream did not cause any skin issues, I found it sticky and my skin was left very dewy...shinny even. The cream also did not have any scent, which can be nice at times. It has a very rich texture and goes on easily.
Thank you ChickAdvisor and Vichy for selecting me for this test and review. I received he complete kit and I have to say that this was one product I didn't love as much as the eye balm and the power serum. I know it says it's called a light cream-however I found it to be pretty thick on the face. When I used the other stuff, it felt like it absorbed pretty quickly-this stuff didn't absorb well at all on my face. I found that when I was a bit warmer, it made my face kind of slimy. I use very little each time because I thought maybe I was using too much. I had the same outcome EVERYTIME. I am so in love with the other products, but don't really see myself purchasing this one specific cream in e future.
Nonetheless, I'm grateful for trying before buying!!!
I really did like this product, but since it doesn't contain an SPF component, it's not really for me. It's a bit of a hassle to have to apply a separate. Also, the price point is quite high. It moisturized well, didn't bother my skin, and wasn't too heavy, with next to no scent. I'd recommend it if it had SPF in it. I won't buy this because of that.
I got this product for free as part of the review club.
i got this product from chick advisor to sample #gotitfree and out of the three product i received i felt this one to be kind of a hit or miss it is very thick and rich so i wouldnt use this during my day time routine as it can leave a greasy residue and i also dont like the fact that it is in jarred packaging for hygienic reasons.
