Thickening

I really enjoyed trying out this Vichy line. As someone who has struggled with fine thinning hair, it has become a real lifesaver. It has over time made my hair thicker and stronger. The scent of this line is like mint, which is calming and therapeutic. The shampoo is a bit on the thicker side, however only a small amount is needed. I find it’s a bit much as a regular use (and a bit pricey), so I use it as an every now and then hair treatment. I find it works well this way.

I only tried a sample of this, so take my review with a grain of salt... I got two single-use samples of this from a drugstore and had to look up what to do with it as there isn't much information about directions for use on the sample packet. When I looked it up, I found out that this is used similarly to a conditioner. You apply it in the shower after shampooing, but apply to the roots as well the rest of the strand. Using this method, I didn't think there was enough product in the same to provide enough coverage to my hair. Seeing the full size product, I'm not sure if I'd get a lot of uses out of it if I need to use so much product every time. The balm has an unpleasant medicated kind of smell and starts to feel tingly on the scalp very quickly, which I didn't like. After rinsing and getting out of the shower, I still catch whiffs of the unpleasant scent. I don't know how effective it was for thickening, since I've used it only twice but I'm not sure I'm interested in trying more given the horrible smell.

So far, so good.

I’ve only used this product a couple times so I cannot say that it’s made my hair thicker yet but I did notice that I have less fall out and that alone is a major plus for me! So far I’ve been enjoying this product and will continue to use it and hopefully see more results!

Lacklustre and Limp Hair Recovery Balm

I found that the vichy dercos densi-solutions restoring thickening balm was a good product. I have found that my hair seems to be stronger, while also feeling softer with a lively boost of volume.
I was not overly thrilled by the menthol medicinal scent to the product, however it was not a game changer as it was not overbearing and the scent disappeared while the product application was setting for the 1 minute balm treatment time.

I was also very satisfied to read that this product is free from parabens, silicones, sulphates and colourants in the ingredients makeup.

Less fallout

I've been using this product for a few weeks now. I don't really think I have noticed any thickening but I feel like I have less fallout in the shower. The first few times I used it there was a tingling/cooling effect on my scalp but after that I didn't really notice it.

Like the menthol cooling on scalp

I got this sample via ChickAdvisor and looking into trying this to restore and gain back the thickness of my hair and solve hair loss problem after giving birth to my baby. I particularly like the menthol cooling feel on my scalp after washing my hair, must be a bliss in the summer though because it sometimes gives me chill in a cold winter if I let it air dry.. So far after several times of using it I don't see the immediate effectiveness outcome as I still shed quite a lot of hair but I do see some tiny ones are gradually growing back along my hairline. Will definitely continue using it for best result! One thing I dislike about this is that strangely there is a very strong chemical smell (like hair dye) that lingers on my head for the entire day..

Good product but not great

I’ve been using the Vichy Dercos Densi-solutions Restoring Thickening Balm for the last several weeks. Although it has given me some good hair days, I’m not sure I would say that I’ve noticed a lot of thickening. Worth trying but don’t expect 100% results.

Stronger Hair

I received this product for free from ChickAdvisor. My hair is fine and lacks volume. I love the fact that it doesn't contain any parabens or sulfates. It's thick and creamy and has a wonderful scent. After only a few uses, I feel that my hair appears thicker and stronger and I will continue to use it. A bit pricey, but worth it.

Feel good so far

I have only used this product 7 times so I haven't seen a full effect.. I plan to continue using it as it would be a great help to obvious thinning of my hair at the front of my head

Good product to try

I was very surprised by this product. I liked it. The hair becomes very shiny with this product and it also feels very good. On the other hand, in terms of hair loss, I have not noticed any improvement following the use of this product. It may be better to combine it with the other products in the range. But having said that, I liked the product and I will continue to use it.
