Didn't notice a difference but loved it

Je n'ai pas remarqué de différence mais ce produit reste quand même un bon shampooing que je continue d'utiliser. Il est de bonne qualité et laisse des cheveux bien propres.

VICHY DERCOS DENSI-SOLUTIONS THICKENING SHAMPOO

I received the Vichy Dercos Densi-solutions Thickening shampoo free of charge as part of the ChickAdvisor campaign, but the opinion is mine alone.

As I color my hair and age, I have found my hair has thinned over time so I was really excited to try out something that could possibly help me get some thickness back into my locks.

My first impression is that the shampoo has an odd lemony mint smell to it. The ingredients do list peppermint oil and what I think might be lemon oil? It's not a terrible smell but it's not what I would normally choose for a scent. That being said - scent is not important if the product works!

I applied from roots to tip as recommended - the peppermint oil adds a nice tingle to the hair and does cleanse very well.

I honestly didn't notice much difference in my hair as far as thickness goes after a few days use (I am thinking it may take a little longer use to see results) BUT I did notice less hair coming out as I brushed. I also felt my ends looked better and my hair over all looked healthier. If anything this is a huge win to me.

I will definitely give it a longer try and hope that I see some results!

Good Cleaning

I received this product as part of the Chick Advisor Review Panel. It came with a thickening spray as well and, as of yet, I have not really noticed a difference in thicker hair. I did find that the shampoo cleaned really well and did not leave a residue, which was a plus, but I have used this for a couple of weeks now and it hasn't really made a big difference. I will keep going and re-post if I find a difference later on.

Not enough time

I enjoyed the shampoo and the feel of of as if was working the tingle sensation made you feel like it was working. I dont think.ot cleaned as well as my regular shampoo and I needed to re wash my hair after to get the clean feeling. I think.a little more time was needed to truly know of this product well thicken my hair.

Really enjoy using this shampoo

I must say, this product seems to cleanse my hair really well. I use gel and hair spray daily for curly hair and my hair feels very clean after use. I like the smell and texture too. I am not noticing any improvement in thickening however and it is quite expensive. As a shampoo though, I really like it. I am u sure if I would purchase it though given the price point and the fact that I am not seeing any change in the fullness of my hair.

Cleans hair without weighing it down.

Although this shampoo wasnt very sudsy it left my hair feeling very clean and light. It didnt weigh it down at all. I enjoyed the citrus scent that lingered long after I washed my hair. Although I didnt notice too much of an increase in volume after my first wash I did read that this shampoo is meant to be used with the balm and concentrate in order to be fully effective. Although chick Advisor provided me with the shampoo and concentrate I went to pharmaprix and purchased the balm on my own since I want the full effect of these products. When I used the shampoo along with the balm and concentrate I noticed my hair looked healthier, shinier and more voluminous. Cannot wait to see the long term continuous results. #gotitfree

Works great! Instant fullness

I'm always hunting for hair products that promise more volume, and this shampoo actually works really well. My hair seemed thicker and fuller after the first use, and the product itself smells really nice. Its a tad pricey but compared to other products, at least I know this one works! Plus I don't need to use other products like moose or sprays. I'd save up to buy it again.
