This product was pretty cool... when I read the instructions that you could apply it in the shower or directly to dry skin I was intrigued.
I decided I needed to apply it directly to my dry skin since I was spending so much time in the sun / pool and needed the hydration.
It absorbed quite well but I wasn't too big of a fan of the scent. It smelled like Moroccanoil.
This product is great mainly because you can use on wet or dry skin. It's super easy to apply and doesn't leave any gross residue like other products I have tried in the past have done. I don't apply as often as I probably should but do use it pretty often and would highly recommend. Worth the cost as do not need a lot l, so lasts a long time.

I must first admit that I don't get sunburn. After extreme sun exposure (with proper application of sunscreen), my skin might feel a little dry. I found this After-Sun care to be very moisturizing and my skin feels really great after my shower. I have only tried applying this in the shower and then do a quick rinse. Afterwards, I patted my skin dry and my skin feels soft and moisturized for the rest of the day.
I found the easiest way to apply this product is to squirt a little on my hands and rub the liquid onto my body. However, once my hands come in contact with the liquid, they are also very slippery so it is a little tricky to use the squirt bottle.
This is a really nice product, works well and easy to use. But I'm not sure I'd spend $30 to buy another one once this runs out. Given how moisturizing it is, I am curious to try this in the winter months when my skin very much needs a moisture boost. :)
I received this product free as part of the Chick Advisor Product Review Club. Thanks Chick Advisor and Vichy for protecting my skin this summer! its an amazing feeling to put this after taking too much sun. makes your body feel cool and fresh ,.
NOTE: I received this product from the Chick Advisor Product Review Club in return for a review of this product. ------- I received this product along with some sunscreens from VICHY. At first I thought this was going to be something like an aloe lotion, but when it came I was surprised to find it was an oil product. This product did not really state it's use as an "after-sun" product. To me, it seemed more like an in-shower moisturiser or dry oil. When I think of "After sun" products i usually think of something soothing rather than moisturising. I appreciate the idea of it and the product itself was nice, but I don't know whether it should be marketed as "after-sun" because it doesn't really fit into a sun routine. The product can either be applied directly to dry akin or in shower and then rinsed off. I only used it on dry skin because I used it after getting out of the pool. I put it on after getting out of the pool and before going back inside because it felt like I had washed off the sunscreen in the pool and was restoring moisture to the skin after being in a chlorinated pool. I don't think I would use it in the shower because it would make the floor very slippery. I liked the product and a little goes a LONG way, and it comes in a pump so you don't use too much. I liked that it helped restore some oils to my skin after stripping them in the pool, but don't see this as a necessary product in a suncare routine. I really liked the smell, it was slightly perfumed though and might not be the best for someone with a lot of sensitivities to fragrance. I think I'll probably save it for winter when my skin gets dry and try it in shower at that point. I'd market it as more of an all-purpose moisturising oil rather than an after sun lotion, but that's just my opinion.
Strong fragrance, but not unpleasant. Used this to hydrate skin after sun exposure. It's an oil, so it takes a few minutes to absorb into the skin. Worked well. I think I'd prefer a water-based after sun care.
I like this stuff! I applied it after I was in the sun at a cottage on the weekend and it kept my skin very moisturized. A little goes a long way as it is quite oily which is nice. I noticed the effect mostly on my legs because hours later they were still smooth! I wouldn't recommend this on the full body unless you are planning on using it in the shower just because you'll be slippery. It's a cool product that I am going to continue using this summer.
I just received these a few days ago from chickadvisor to sample. I tried this both ways as directed either in shower or on dry skin. I definitely preferred dry skin as the product is greasy and in the shower it made it a very slippery situation. The product feels great to apply after being in the sun all day it soothes and feels refreshing! I never burned yet but I can imagine how much better my sunburn would feel after this is applied. I prefer it hands down to the sticky green goo of aloe vera and I love how light and refreshing the smell is! Great product overall!
Very nice after sun product. It's light, it is not greasy, it smells ok and it does a great job cooling the skin off, especially if you are like me and fry easily.
Definitely recommend!
I have received sample product thanks to @chickadvisor to test and review.
It's very convenient that this product can be used in two different ways - either in the shower and rinsed off, or applied to dry skin. The fragrance is very light and fresh and the result is hydrated skin.
