I love the "invisible" feeling after applying it to my skin. It also left my skin feeling dewy, not dry. I was in the sun for 4 hours, and not a speck of burn! The only thing I would change is to make it non-staining.
I've been using this a lot in the last month, and may have only a few weeks left in the bottle so I really have appreciated getting to try this out for free from ChickAdvisor and Vichy, #gotitfree. It's a thicker formula than their Ideal Ultra-Light Lotion spf 50, so it isn't runny but sticks more to where you want to apply it. It takes more rubbing to get it absorbed until all the white marks disappear. It's been easy to apply to my whole body, from the tops of my feet to the back of the neck. I've found it's easiest to apply after I've first applied my regular fun-scented non-spf body lotion. This Vichy Spf 60 is completely scentless and I think it would be good for anyone with skin sensitivities. I would recommend to also get the Ultra-Light version to use on the face b/c that one is matte and fully absorbs. Although this spf 60 is for face and body, I like it more just for the body (and only for the face if I'm on the beach and in the water) b/c this one has more of a noticeable protective barrier and leaves skin looking more hydrated but with a touch of a healthy shine. I like that I can feel it still on my body throughout the day making my skin feel hydrated and soft, but also still protected from the sun. I've been enjoying the summer outdoors a lot this last month and haven't had any sunburns, dryness, redness, or skin irritation from sun exposure so I know this broad spectrum spf protection is working. It is a pricier version of sunblock than the more basic brands, but this one would be worth it especially for people who have sensitive skin.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to try and review this product. Overall, I think the product is very effective. However, I found it a bit runny. I ended up using more product than needed. I also was not a fan of the scent. That said, I believe it did it's job and my skin did not feel greasy and was well protected from the sun.
I got to try Vichy Ideal Soleil Sheer lotion Bare skin Feel SPF 60 through ChickAdvisor and I loved it! It smells so nice and the texture of it is amazing! It feels wonderful on your skin and works really well!
\With my skin being so sensitive to the sun I tried this as I was going to spend the day out in the water and it worked it didn't get burnt. I felt very protected with this. It is one of the few that I have tried that works well and I didn't get burnt. Thank you #Vichy#chickadvisor
I liked Vichy Idéal Soleil Sheer Lotion Bare Skin Feel SPF 60. I don't think I would pay the price, but if money was no issue I would buy this product. It is not greasy, does not smell bad and unfortunately is not waterproof.
Besides offering high SPF and FPS protection,it feels light on the skin. Has no heavy, oily feel at all. It absorbs quickly and is very effective. The best I have used in a long time.
Great coverage - goes on smoothly and goes a long way. Does not feel greasy. As a bouns i did not turn red (as I normally do) after an afternoon outside.
This is a great sunscreen. It's a very thin, watery texture so it glides on easily. It doesn't leave a white cast and is slightly greasy. This works really well and spreads easily and quickly and I haven't had any burnt/missed patches so far. It's very thin and doesn't leave that thick/sticky sunscreen feeling on the skin. I always forget I'm wearing it since it doesn't smell or feel sticky.
The scent isn't the nicest since it's unscented but I prefer that anyway.
I'm not sure if I will repurchase this since I don't see much of a difference in effectiveness between this and other similar (but cheaper) sunscreens. If price isn't an issue then I would recommend this product since it works very well and doesn't leave that greasy, sunscreen feeling on the skin.
I haven't tried it on my face (it's advertised as a body and face lotion) since chemical sunscreens make me break out very badly. If you don't break out from them and this can be use don the face then it might just be worth purchasing.
I did not see the difference between that lotion and cheaper ones. It did a great job for protection but did not worth to pay this price. I did not feel that "bare skin" effect.
