I'm one of those people who's skin is so white, I could almost be invisible! That being said, it's obvious that I need good sunscreen very badly! However, I hate applying sunscreen. Sun skin care is one of my hated issues to deal with. I feel however, Vichy has helped resolve some of my issues. To begin with it's not thick when putting it on, this is huge for me. It's light and even almost like a moisturizing lotion. (Living in Winnipeg, this also a big issues as winters make everyone's skin dry up like raisins!) My other issue is that being so fair, I need sun protection that actually works. Well Vichy's Ideal Soleil Sheer Lotion Bare Skin Feel SPF 60 works and it works very well. I have yet to burn this summer. Typically my chest, shoulders and back are burnt and peeling by this time each summer. It is fairly pricey, but I think I have found my newest sun protection! It has a high SPF, which usually means a thick, oily sunscreen. This product is not too thick and did not leave a heavy residue on skin. It spread on nicely and did not take too long to lose that white, chalky look -- it absorbed quickly into the skin and did not make me feel greasy. I like the sunscreen a lot, but I don't think that it would replace my regular sunscreen -- Hawaiian Tropic Sheer Touch--- because of the price. As much as I like that it is probably much better for my skin, I do not have issues like acne or sensitivity on my body to justify paying thirty dollars for a bottle of this sunscreen. I did not burn at all while using this, and I did not reapply as often as necessary every time I used it, so I will say I think it protected my skin a bit better than other brands, but sunscreen tends to have a lot of user errors that cause burns. Overall, I really liked the product, the smell, consistency and feel on the skin were great and I felt that it protected my skin for a long time. I would pay 18-20 dollars for this product, but feel that 30 is too much for a sunscreen that will be used up very quickly, especially if it is being shared with others.

This product is easy to use and in terms of effectiveness, this product works well. In terms of a sunscreen, I'm looking for something that doesn't leave a sticky or oily residue. The product is a little on the oily side and there are other products that I would prefer over this one with respect to texture.

What I do like is the size of the bottle. It is not too bulky to carry around, even in a relatively small bag.

I absolutely LOVED this sunscreen for my sensitive skin. It was very true to it's word! I have never used anything that worked quite as well as Vichy's Sheer Lotion Bare Skin Feel. It was like there wasn't anything on me. Not greasy or sticky at all! You can rub it on and forget about it. Great protection from the sun!

I liked this product but there was a learning curve to applying it. If you apply too much it will ball up and sit on the skin. However, if you use the right amount (a little then add more as necessary) it soaks right in and you don't end up having that sticky "I'm wearing sunscreen" feeling.

Super light and sheer, as the name suggests. Absorbs into the skin quickly. Doesn't feel greasy. Really liked this product. Wish this brand was cruelty-free!

The lotion very amazing as it does not form a white film on the face and does not have an oily feeling on the skin. It feels so natural and not apparent. It is very comfortable and does not dry out. The price is very affordable too!!

Vichy Ideal Soleil 60 is very light and easy to apply and within minutes of applying it does't even feel like you are wearing it! Not only feel like it isn't there it completely blocks damaging sun rays. Definitely a new favorite product.
