Thank you Chickadvisor for the opportunity to test and review this product. This is very lightweight and easy to apply. It absorbed well into my skin and did not feel greasy. It's so lightweight that it doesn't feel like you are wearing sunscreen which is typically oily and sticky. I would recommend this lotion to others. It is pricier than other sunscreen products but I would buy it on sale.

This sunscreen has a light, fluid texture which makes application easy for the face. The scent is minimal, which I appreciate but it smells like regular sunscreen. The protection factor is high (50) and I feel confident that this will protect my skin. It does not feel heavy on the skin, however I did find it to be slightly oily. Makeup does apply well on top though. I usually wear a mineral powder foundation, and this sunscreen worked well under the powder.

Unfortunately, this product made my skin breakout when wearing it everyday. My skin is very acne-prone and tends to breakout with most face sunscreens with the exception of Asian brands which are very light. While I would not wear the Vichy product as an everyday sunscreen, I would choose it for those days I am outside for extended periods of time and need the protection. It is an effective sun protection product as I did not burn when out at the beach all day.

Another drawback was that this product really stung my eyes! By the end of the day, there is not much product left on the face so it's not a big problem. However, when I washed my face about an hour after application, the sunscreen melted off and stung badly.

Overall, I would recommend this product for anyone who wants effective sun protection for the face. It is pleasant to use due to its light texture. Unfortunately, if you are acne-prone like me, this may not be the best everyday sunscreen for you.

I wanted to test out sun protection products because I've ALWAYS had issues finding them to use for my skin. I have oily and combination skin, and putting an extra layer of sunscreen on my face after toner and moisturizer and acne products was just not happening, especially if they feel like an extra layer of thick paint that blocked all of my pores and made me break out even further.

This lotion however felt like a moisturizer, and not a sunscreen, and wiped all of my fears away after a few uses. I did not break out, I did not feel weighed down, and I definitely felt like I've finally found an ideal sunscreen lotion for my face.

The lotion is very light and sheer, and has no scent, my skin and pores don't feel blocked at all after putting the lotion on, and had no trouble absorbing the product before putting on my makeup on top. I was also able to reapply during the day without feeling greasy and oily, something I never wanted to do in the past. I think I'll be using this lotion for a long long time.

I'd highly recommend this product, especially if you usually find yourself breaking out after putting them on your face.

A good small size to keep in my purse for if I am in the car or on the go. Didn't find it greasy and had a nice neutral scent. It is a bit expensive but works well.

I received this product for free as part of the Product review club from ChickAvisor. I used this product on myself and on my kid. The lotion is portable, non greasy, easy to apply, doesnt leave a white resudue, and very effective. It's sure i will purchase it in the future.

I am always looking for a good sunscreen for my face, and I believe that I have finally found it. Most facial sunscreens feel heavy and oily. One of the reasons I would seldom put it on. Vichy Ultra "Light" lotion is just that. Ultra light! It doesn't make my face feel like I have sunscreen on at all. It's light and goes on really smooth. Also, there is no heavy scent, which is great. It does not interfere with any make up that I have on. This is definitely a keeper!

Finding a sunscreen for your face that doesn't make you feel like you just got back from a 2 hour run in the sweltering heat is really hard. Thankfully, VIchy Ideal Soleil Ultra Light Lotion SPF 50 IS AMAZING. Once I put it on, I completely forgot i was wearing sunscreen, which is exactly what I want out of a facial sunscreen. IT doesn't have that strong sunscreen smell as well, highly recommend.

I really enjoyed this product. It had a high SPF which I look for in a face lotion. The formula was light and didn't feel heavy on my skin like some other lotions with SPF that I have tried. I also didn't break out or have any reactions to this lotion. This lotion didn't leave my skin feeling oily and there wasn't a strong smell which is very important to me! The lotion absorbed quickly and I also liked the fact that it was water resistant. When this bottle is gone, I will most likely purchase this product again in the future.

I was lucky enough to get to try this product for free thanks to Chick Advisor :) I swapped this in for my regular daily face lotion that I use first thing in the morning after I wash my face. I found it worked really well as a daily face lotion and I am usually very concerned about oiliness and my face being oily by midday, but this ultra light lotion worked just as well as my daily lotions that are meant for oily skin and minimizing shine. I was pretty impressed with that. For sure, I still used a oil control primer which always helps. I found this Vichy ultra light lotion smelled a little too much like sunscreen for my liking, but I got used to that after the first few days. It is definitely very light as it comes out like a thin liquid and I have to remind myself to shake it well before use. My only negative comment is that I don't think an SPF as high as 50 is necessary, but that's just me - I prefer an SPF of 35.
