I was very happy to receive this sample product and used it nearly every day since receiving it. I used it under makeup, and was very happy that it was not too oily - which would spell disaster for my makeup! The Ultra Light Lotion went on easily, absorbed quickly, and provided excellent sun protection. The price is a little high - there are similar brands that provide similar protection for $5-$10 less.

This is nice and thin and I've used it a bunch of times as a primer underneath makeup. My skin doesn't feel sticky and I like that it is being protected from the harsh UV rays. The only thing I wasn't crazy about is the scent, but it's not TOO offensive so it's not a dealbreaker.

I love the "invisible" feeling after applying it to my face. It also left my skin feeling dewy, not dry. The only thing I would change is to make it non-staining.

I've been using this daily for a month now and have been really happy with the coverage and protectiveness from the sun. I've been using it specifically just on my face and neck before I apply makeup. I like that for this area it is a more runny liquid formula so it spreads really quickly and absorbs into the skin fast so I can get my makeup on and not have any white marks to deal with. B/c it's a runny formula they've designed the bottle with a special tip so that it controls the level that it comes out; it comes out more controlled so you never squeeze out too much, and it can't spill out accidentally. The bottle also comes with a ball inside so that when you shake it it mixes up inside like a spray can would. I've been outdoors so much this summer doing a lot of biking and I really need a good quality spf like this one to prevent damage to my face, luckily I haven't seen any new freckles pop up this month. I'm totally confident in the spectrum coverage this provides. It's also scentless and I would recommend it to people with skin sensitivities b/c it is lightweight and hasn't clogged up my skin in any way, I don't notice it's even there throughout the day b/c it is light (but also effective). The only one downside in my opinion is the cost per volume. It's about $26 per 40 ml and when you get it out of the box and look at the amount in the container it doesn't look like much. But since it's more of just a facial spf it doesn't use huge amounts daily (like you would use on the whole body), so it does last longer than expected. I think I have enough to last another 2-3 months. Thanks to ChickAdvisor and Vichy for letting my test this one out, #gotitfree

Thank you! i appreciate the fact that this was a ultra-light product as I have oily skin and hate putting thick lotions on! I feel that it did a great job protecting my face from the sun. The only drawback - I really didn't like the scent. Other than that, a good product!

I tried Vichy Ideal Soleil Ultra light lotion SPF 50 trough ChickAdvisor and I loved it! This is the best SPF I have used on my face! It didn't make me break out and it had a great thin texture. No sunburn !! The bottle was very tiny though.

This made my skin feel like it wasn't layered up in lotion. It felt good on the skin and I was well protected with it. I reapplied it once since I was out in the water and I didn't get burnt at all. THANK YOU #VICHY#CHICKADVISOR for the opportunity to try this

I found that Vichy Idéal Soleil Ultra Light Lotion SPF 50 was way to liquidy. And the price is very high for such a small bottle. I will not buy this product
