I received Vichy Idéalia Day Care from Chick Advisor to try and review.
The packaging is beautiful. The jar is a pale pink and the cap has a mirror finished top.
The cream itself is a soft pink and is rich and smooth in texture, with a soft fragrance.
With first use the cream absorbs quickly and leaves my face soft and radiant.
After a few weeks my skin is smooth in both texture and appearance. My foundation slides on smoothly, though I go most days without as I'm comfortable with my skin as it is thanks to Vichy Idéalia Day Care.

I recieved this product for free as part of the Product Review Club. I have only used it for 3 weeks instead of 4 as I only recieved it 3 weeks ago.

The Pros:
I love how it moisturizes my skin. It leaves my skin feeling moisturized all day
It doesn't make my skin break out. I have sensitve skin and the day cream worked great and kept my skin calm
I love how it made my pores look smaller and it evened my skin tone.

The Cons:
The fact that it doesn't have sunscreen is a big deal. This means I had to use another facial product to apply sunscreen after the day cream
The smell. It smells too floral for me.

Bottom line:
If my normal day cream was not available, then I would probably purchase this, however, the fact that there is no sunscreen is a deal breaker for me.

The cream has a very nice smell.It gives you a feeling of luxury when putting it on. I found that it was nice to put on in the morning as it has a light, enriching texture to it . I noticed after 2 weeks the wrinkles on my forehead had decreased slightly or at least were less visiable. It kept my face moisturized for most of the day. I liked that a very small quantity of the product was needed to cover my whole face and neck. Overall it was a very effective day cream. The bottle looked nice too.

I really love the Vichy Idealia Day Creme. It is the perfect amount of moisture for my skin and i love the light scent. It does not make my skin feel greasy, but soft and supple.

I absolutely love this product! I have been looking for a long time for a face cream that is light and doesn't cause me to break out like crazy! While I havn't really noticed any anti-aging effects i can say that this is by far the best face cream I have ever used. its light, and not greasy at all, absorbes quickly and leaves my face feeling soft and smooth. I even break out less using this face cream. The smell is pleasant and light and i honestly cant get enough. I have even purchased more of this stuff already!

This is a really high quality product, just wasn't for me. When used as a line with the other products in this line I did see some good results over the past couple of weeks, but individually I found this lotion to be a little too heavy for everyday use. I don't know if it's just me but it left me a little heavy feeling.

This day cream was ultra moisturizing and smells amazing. It became a regular part of my morning and night time routine as I have combination skin and started to notice dry patches after washing my face before receiving this product to review. I initially started using the micellar water, followed by the eye cream and then use this to finish my entire face. Within 4 days my dry patches were gone, my face smoother than before and plump as a baby's butt.

Because the cream is ultra rich I would use just a little and it would spread all over my face. It feels cool going on and a pleasure to slather on at night before bed. I've even used it under makeup giving it some time to sink in before applying my foundation.
I thought this would be too thick to use in the summer time but it was perfect for my combination skin. Looking forward to repurchased and trying more skin care from this brand. Even though it is pricey, you can receive points from Shoppers drug mart to give you redeemable cash to repurchase.

Of the three products I tried and am reviewing from Vichy, the Idéalia Day Care face cream was the least spectacular. While it smells wonderful, and a little really does go a long way, I was not wowed. I learned early on not to apply on my nose or chin, and as the temperature went up, I started applying in an even thinner layer.

What I am happy with is how it left the skin along my jawline and neck. It's very smooth, and as mentioned above smells wonderful.

Overall, I will definitely continue to use Vichy product, which I had never tried before, and continue to tailor my use to my skin type.

Love this product so much, starting from the soft touch, to the pink colour to the rosy smell. It leaves skin fresh, bright and soft without feeling heavy or blocking my pores. It actually has this (feather) effect! I would definitely continue using and purchasing this product.

I really liked this product. The day cream kept my face moisturizer all day long. I was worried it would be greasy especially in the summer but it ended up being just perfect. The smell was not very potent and perfumy so it was easy to use. I actually quite enjoyed the clean scent. I noticed after three weeks of use my face feels much softer for sure! Love this product and once my free one runs out I'll most likely purchase it. #vichyworksforme
