I received Vichy Idealia Life Serum free to try from Chick Advisor. I have been using it along with the Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep cream also which I will review.

At first try of the Idealia Serum I found it to be quite scented, well more than I'm used to from my usual product. It's not a natural scent either like citrus or aloe, more of a perfume or floral scent. It didn't bother me much and I got used to it, but someone who is sensitive may be affected. The serum provides the perfect base for the Skin Sleep cream; it allows the cream to be applied & blended more easily and to better absorb into the skin.

After using the products for 3 weeks, my skin looks a bit more hydrated, and feels slightly firmer, and 'plumped". I also wasn't waking up in the morning with the pillow creases on my face that I would usually get without using this product - which in itself is a bonus! So these products were defiantly doing something good for my skin. :) As I said earlier, the products work better as a combo instead of alone, which is probably how it's intended. This however will raise the price point having to buy 2 products instead of one. Both worked well and I will probably purchase again once this sample runs out. I had the chance to try this product for free via the Chick-Advisor Product Review Club. It's difficult to assess skin care products after only a couple of weeks of use. I stopped using all of my other skin care products to get the most realistic experience of these products.
The serum was rich, silky and hydrating and I loved the texture and how it made my skin feel. My skin felt very smooth after application.
Within a few days of use, my normally pasty and pale complexion had a rosy glow.
The product is pricey and the main deterrent to purchasing in the future. But I will keep my eye out for sales.

I like this product! I love the colour and smell and I like how it isn't oily. I feel good using this product. I would not buy it in the near future due to the price but if I could afford it I would.

This is a great product. I really liked this one. Usually serums are oily and weird looking, but this one looks just like a cream and is not oily at all. It was hydrating and moisturizing. I really liked this product. Thanks Chickadviser for introducing me to this wonderful product!

This was a treat for me, to receive a more elite product that I see regularily on the market shelves of my local, most used pharmacy, beauty store like Shoppers Drug Mart. I dedicated 2 weeks and used this serum on my face every morning after cleansing my facial skin. I applied this product to my face before my moisturizer as recommended daily for the 2 weeks daily, and I'm impressed. This serum has a bit of a tightening feel to it after applying to my face and neck which gave me a more youthful look after 9 days of daily use. My pores are smaller and my skin looks more smooth and regulated, instead of mixed tone and textures. I've got a more flawless look now instead of the T-Zone, irregularities that become an issue sometimes. This product works well even when used sparingly which is better for my pocket book in price. It is worth it! I have no blemishes and irritation from this product which is a plus side compared to many products I have tried over time that are costly. As with the moisturizer, my skin broke out while using these products. However I don't know if the products caused it or not. I need to keep using them long term in order to better review them for my skin type. If your skin isn't sensitive in terms of breakouts, I would recommend this 100%! With that being said, my skin in general looked well rested and fresh in the morning after using this product. My only complaint would be the glitter-like particles. I'd like to use the serum in the day but this makes me hesitant. I also have to comment on the packaging: beautiful!

I was sent this product free to try and I have been using it for about two weeks now. I was very happy to be a part of this trial and I am quite happy with the product. It works very well to keep my skin feeling soft. However, as much as I like this product I don't think I will be switching from my regular skin care product mainly because this product is twice as expensive and it didn't do anything that my regular product didn't do.

I starting using the Vichy Idealia Life Serum as well as the Skin sleep about 3 weeks ago. I applied the life serum every morning. The cream is light, but a tad sticky. If you rubbed it in well enough though, the stickiness went away. I did noticed that my skin was brighter and tighter, and it did take away the appearance of the fine lines around my eyes. I find the product a little pricey, but given that I like the results, I could see myself splurging.

I would recommend this to family and friends.

I was chosen to try Vichy Idealia Life Serum for free from Chick Advisor and I couldn't be happier (unless of course the price were to drop) I love the way my skin looks and feels after using this combined with the Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep. It feels great on my skin, not heavy or oily. I have noticed a great change in my skin tone as well as a healthier look to my skin. Again, the smell was a little bit much but I adjusted. Not sure I can afford both of these products together so I would have to say I would pick the Skin Sleep if I were to continue with one or the other. Would purchase both if more affordable.

I was extremely lucky to be chosen by Chick Advisor Review Club to receive the Vichy Idelia Life Serum. I'm not a fan of the rose smell of this product, even though it was not overly strong. If you happen to be very sensitive to smells, then this probably isn't the product for you. It is nice that a little does go a long way. I like that this product comes with a pump that dispenses just the right amount needed. I also like the looks of the bottle.

I unfortunately only got to use this product for a couple of weeks. I used it in conjunction with the Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep Repair Night Gel-Balm. These two work very well together! My skin seems to be softer and smoother, but not greatly so. Maybe it needs more time. Also, products react differently for different people. This may work wonders for others. I loved the opportunity to try it out.
