How did Life Serum perform based on its advertised benefits (e.g. increased hydration, smoother-looking skin, etc)?

Over the last two weeks, I would say it performed beautifully. Definitely increased hydration. My skin was smoother feeling and looking. I didn't really need a moisturizer after using it!

How did Life Serum perform compared to similar skin care products you have used in the past?

Life Serum outperformed many other serums I have tried. It was creamier and was not runny...YAY! I did not notice any reduced pigmentation as the jasmonic acid derivative claims to reduce it, but I may have to use the product longer for this to show.

Would you recommend Vichy Idealia to a family member and/or friend?

Yes, I would! I would not recommend it t people who have eczema, as it may irritate it. It irritated mine, but for those with minimally sensitive skin or normal to dry, this product may work well for you!

I received this product for free from the product review club and I am thrilled with the results. I have been using it for the past few weeks twice a day in conjunction with Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep. The idealia Life Serum smells amazing. The results I started to notice almost instantly, my pores appeared smaller, skin was hydrated and refreshed. My face felt skin felt amazing. The product is light and not oily. I have skin that can sometimes be incredibly sensitive to products/lotions/cleansers and I had absolutely no reaction to this product. I love VICHY and this idealia Life Serum is no exception

I was so lucky to receive this product free to test for Chick Advisors and i was not disappointed at all. The product has this amazing silky texture and smells incredible. I would put it on in the morning before my makeup and I noticed the difference right away. There would be no dry patches for the makeup to catch it, it would smooth my skin so nicely. I can't say I've ever used such a great product for my skin. I would definitely recommend it

Let me start by just raving about the packaging/sizing of this lotion! I am a huge fan of simply how the bottle is designed, it's easy use and the fact that it takes up very little space in the bathroom. Second I just love how it is pink in color, and I think this will resonate with women everywhere. I loved using this serum in the morning under my vitamin C lotion. It absorbed so quickly into my skin with such little scent, I was amazed. You can feel the effects of smooth and dewy skin right after use, in my opinion. I often have combination skin and hormonal acne break outs however this product in conjunction with the Idealia sleep cream worked wonders for my skin. @vichycanada #IdealiaSkinSleep

I have been using the Vichy Idealia Life Serum for a week now. Initially when I saw this product labelled as a "serum" I wasn't impressed as I was expecting a clear, oily like product that I thought would exacerbate my acne prone skin.

This product however was nothing like I expected. It was white with a lotion like consistency. It absorbed quickly into the skin and did not leave a sticky or oily residue. My skin tolerated this lotion very well as it didn't aggravate my acne prone skin or make my skin any oilier than usual.

The lotion is fragranced and reminds me of a green tea scent. It is pleasant and not overpowering.

I was using this serum daily after cleansing my face. I found that the product moisturized so well that I didn't need to apply a separate moisturizer. In fact I had been dealing with some dry patches on my skin due to the harsh acne products I use and found that the dry patches were well taken care of with this product.

I have noticed that my skin is softer and smoother with daily use but haven't yet noticed any further improvements to my skin at this point. Perhaps with continued use that will change.

Overall, I really liked this product but cannot justify the price tag for the softer, smoother and moisturized skin that I saw. I feel there are other products on the market with a lower price tag that would be just as effective. However, I would recommend this product to anyone to try as it really is a lovely product.

I was impressed right away with the jar and bottle is so such a beautiful pink shade, very high end and classy looking. But I wondered does this really work. So I wanted to wait a couple of weeks to really give it a fair chance and a honest review. I like the applicator the way it measures out the precise amount you need to use for the #vichyidealialifeserum. So it is very easy to apply , your not wasting the product and you are getting just the right amount of serum for your face. After a couple days of use I really did see a big difference in the way my skin looked and felt. My pores looked much smaller, my complexion looked so much brighter, not so tired looking and way healthier. Just like new skin. I love to wear it under my makeup it really helps bring out a natural glow to my face. My skin seams to get better and better the longer I use #vichyidealialifeserum. I totally think it is well worth the price to look and feel better about your skin. I will be buying this product faithfully because it really works. The formula is light, not greasy, and it did leave my skin feeling refreshed, hydrated, and almost luminescent, but it is comparable to other serums that are not as expensive. It's good and the packaging is lovely, but I'm not sure if it's worth the price.

I was lucky enough to receive this product to try through the product review club. I like it much better than the Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep that I also received and which causes me to break out.

The serum is nice and light where the Skin Sleep is heavy. The serum is quickly absorbed by my skin and leaves it feeling very soft. I have found that I can only use the serum once per day instead of the recommended twice per day. My skin is slightly dry but also sensitive and easily gets oily. This serum does not irritate my skin in any way and leaves my skin moisturized but not oily, as long as I only apply it once per day. After two weeks of use, I can't say that I see a reduction in the fine lines on my face, but my skin feels better. I wouldn't say that my skin looks like I've had 8 hours of sleep (with a toddler and an infant I can only wish) but it does look healthy and my skin tone might be slightly more even. I am happier with this serum than some others that I have tried.

I don't really like the scent, but I don't like the scent of any Vichy products. Fortunately the scent doesn't irritate my skin and it fades quickly so it's just a minor annoyance.

Works well with the sleep Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep, you dont need much to cover your face, I also found it dried nicely on your skin, I seen results with in the 2 weeks and as I continue using it. I am not a fan of the scent but I don't mind it. I all round like the product as my skin has evened out nicely.
