The serum has an irridescent quality to it which doesn’t really show up as shimmer on the skin but does leave behind a nice glow. I sometimes mix a drop or two of this into my foundation to give me a really nice, bright and dewy look.
It has a light, non-greasy texture and works on my sensitive skin
So Yes! in love with this.. I only use it during the day, but it makes my skin look so radiant :)

Similarily to the Idealia skin sleep, this product was "just okay" for me. It was moisturizing, smelt nice, didnt clog my pores and had very pretty packaging but I've just used other serums in the past that are less expensive and give me better results so to me, this would not be worth $50. I also felt like the serum did not fully absorb into my skin, as there was pillow transfer even after 1 hour of having applied it on my skin and lying down. Also when I washed my face the next morning, it felt more slippery than with my other serums, meaning again that most of the serum was just sitting on my face and not really absorbing into my skin.

I used this along with the Night balm and found it to really revitalize my skin. I used it as directed in the morning and at night, under the creme. The product has a pearlescent finish to it which immediately adds lumonisity to the skin. I actually really liked the 'glow' it gave under my foundation, especially with a tan! It is very lightweight and didn't irritate or worsen my acne-prone oily skin.

I was really excited to try this product out - a serum that combats how pollutants and lifestyle choices affect your skin? Yes please! The packaging is weighty and feels very luxurious without being bulky. The serum itself has a light, sweet scent that dissipates really quickly on the skin. It's got a luminosity to it that adds a glow to your skin and works really well mixed in with foundation to add luminosity. I unfortunately didn't see a lot of change in my skin after I started using the serum, but it is truly a beautiful product!

I love the iridescent look and feel of the serum, it is very pretty and gives your skin a beautiful glow! It is very lightweight yet very moisturizing. After daily use my skin felt very hydrated and supple. The bottle and packaging is very pretty as well.

I've been using the Vichy Idealia Life Serum that I received free as part of the ChickAdvisor review club. After nearly 2 weeks (I think), I can say that I am in love with this stuff! My skin has issues related to age and stress (sensitive patches, dullness, uneven tones and general blah!) , but I don't typically bother with anything more than lotion in the morning, night cream at bedtime, and makeup if I'm leaving the house.
The first day I applied the Life Serum after washing my face in the morning, then a bit of moisturizer, then my makeup to even out my skin tone (though the results are never great.) Second day I did the same but found my makeup seemed to look smoother when I was done. Imagination? Can't be, because after a week I took some time to look closely at my clean skin after my shower, and it was very obvious that those nasty pores on my nose were definitely noticeably finer and the tone of my skin was much more even. Just a dab of foundation goes on very smoothly now and blends beautifully. Those nasty irritated areas on my cheeks have tamed right down and I had to look really closely to see them. My skin just feels comfortable and the last 4 years of super-stress are almost erased, I swear.
This morning I was doing my eye make up and lips before I realized that I hadn't used any foundation - took a good look at my skin and decided I didn't need to! I'm not afraid of looking natural and looking my age as long as I still look healthy and bright, and that is what this Life Serum has done for my skin.
This products has worked for me and this is one I will definitely buy again! (Thank you Vichy and ChickAdvisor for throwing this lovely little extra into the night cream trial!)

I used the serum daily for over one week so I could get a good idea of how effectively it works after eight days. First, I noticed that it helped to moisturize my skin, leaving it smooth and silky. In addition, it definitely provided a subtle glow that brightened the skin and made it look more lively.

The product glides on smoothly, and it has a pleasant smell, which is always a bonus. I used it as a base under my foundation and that made my makeup easier to apply.

As much as I would like to say this is great. For me it just didn't work. I really can't see any change in my skin. And the price is more than I can justify spending.

Firstly, I have sensitive skin, and was initially concerned about the scent - even though it is pleasant and mild. I was very pleased that I had no adverse reactions to the serum.
My skin has been going through some hormonal changes, so it has been challenging to find new products that work for me. This one definitely does.
It did not leave my skin feeling oily, and absorbed quickly into the skin, which was nice, because I have tried some night-time serums that DO feel greasy when applied. The serum is a great base for Vichy's night gel-balm. It's a little too soon (just under 2 weeks) to notice a significant improvement in the look of my skin, but it does feel more hydrated in the morning.
I would certainly recommend this to friends and family, and would purchase it myself. It might seem pricey for some, but a little goes a long way.

I have been using the Vichy Idealia Life Serum with the Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep cream I got through Chick Advisor and I love them. It has a light texture with a pearly finish that gives you an instant glow. I have an oilyer skin type so I found using them together was too much of a glow for my already oily skin, so I started using the serum by itself in the morning and the cream by itself at night and that worked better for my skin. Overall, I loved the serum it really made a difference in the dullness my skin had and my pores are much smaller and tighter now.
