I received the Vichy Idealia Life Serum as a special companion product from the Chick Advisor Review Club. I have been using it for a week now in combination with the Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep gel balm, I love how this serum makes my skin look radiant, refreshed and hydrated. I've also noticed a reduction in my pores as well as my skin looking more even and bright.

I'm just finishing my first week of using this, in conjunction with the Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep. I like this serum as it helps to brighten my complexion. I also prefer this serum over the Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep, as I don't find it as heavy. This one absorbs into the skin much better.

The pink tone of the serum, along with illuminating properties gives a nice radiant finish.

Skin feels smooth and plump.

I did get a couple of small breakouts, but I think it was due to my skin adjusting to a new product.

I am trully impressed by this serum and yet, I have tried several Vichy Idealia Life serum is my favorite.
It texture, mid gel and cream is just perfect and the result improve each day.
The pores of my skin are more thin , I have a lighter complexion and I can use a more light foundation.

not only did this refresh my skin . but was amazing at reducing the saggy water bags under my eyes from allergies . i didnt notice the difference at first when i recieved my Vichy life serum a week ago . but now i am MORE than pleased with it , thank you chick advisor for my free tester sample :)

Having very oily and acne-prone skin in my mid-40's is not what expected to still be dealing with at this stage in my life. However, that's the skin I've got and I have to work with it. That being said, I was worried before trying this product that it may make my skin break out. All seemed to be well after using for about 3 days but then, I started to get pimples and break out way more than normal. My chin and cheek areas were the worst. I didn't want to give up on the product so I continued to use it for one week, applying morning and night, hoping that my skin would get used to it. Unfortunately, it did not.

I'm so disappointed because I really wanted to be able to use Vichy Idealia Life Serum and have it be effective as I know they make excellent, high-quality products. It's also difficult for me to review this and not be able to give it the 5 stars I so wanted to. It's really not entirely Vichy's fault as I do have sensitive skin which is prone to break outs but this product did not help me and sadly, made my situation worse. Therefore, I can only recommend this product to those who do not struggle with sensitive, adult acne-prone skin types.

Vichy Idealia Life Serum makes your skin feel great. Price seems high but really you only need a few dabs so I imagine it will last a while. I notice a difference in only 1 week. My skin doesn't "soak up" my foundation as usual. The serum sort of acts like a primer and I like that. I will definitely use from now on.

I received this product as part of the the Chick Adviser Review club. I have to say, I was very excited to try and it and had very high hopes, but, unfortunately, I haven't yet noticed much of a difference. It advertises increased hydration, smoother skin with visibly refined pores, and illumination qualities. First of all, though it was moisturizing, this effect didn't last for very long. I didn't notice that it was any more hydrating than a basic lotion. Secondly, my skin texture did not improve much. I still haven't experienced much difference in pore-size and, though, it "illuminates" when you put it on, it quickly disappeared as soon as I added my sunscreen and make-up. I asked a couple of my friends if they had noticed any difference in my skin and neither one could see any improvement. I have been using it for 12 day, but I think that it may show a bit of improvement with a little more time. I think with the product's price-point, it should show a marked improvement in a shorter time-frame.

I received this in part of the Vichy Idealia skin sleep. It states it was suppose to diminish the appearance of fine lines, hydrate, etc.

The first time using it was in combination with the Skin Sleep. I dont have much of a skin care routine, just basic cleanser and drugstore moisturizer.

I have used this for over a week in combination with the Skin sleep, and the appearance of my smile/laugh lines are reduced, and it has helped with my under eye bags as well. A little goes a long way with this product i noticed.

I have sensitive skin, and this did not cause any irritation either, which was nice.

In combination with the skin sleep, I feel comfortable wearing no foundation and just a little powder where i tend to get oily. My skin is hydrated and feels refreshed.

This Ideal Life Serum came as part of a well packaged, generous sample from the Chickadvisor program. It was an unexpected inclusion with the Idealia Skin Sleep. I generally use serum, preferring a hydrating serum as my normal to oily skin is very dehydrated and I didn't find this serum hydrating enough. The product is lightly scented, you don't require a lot, as one pump seemed to cover the face well. My only pet peeve was that the serum was opalescent, which I suppose is done to make it appear that your skin looks better 'already', but I always wonder if the added ingredients that are used to make the opalescent effect won't cause irritation. Overall, when combined with the Skin Sleep product I found the system to lack the hydration I required.

I am in the middle with this product. I have dry skin and after putting it on it does make my skin more soft and supple. My darker spots on my face seem to be faded but not completely gone. Although there seems to be particles in it that are really shiny that might bother some. I looked a little too luminescent for my liking. The smell was really nice. I felt like after 2-3 hours the look of soft suppleness had gone away and the dark spots have started to show again. I have found other products of lesser price have held my softness more. There does not seem to be any long term benefits of this product that I can tell after using for a week. I will keep trying it but if there are not long term benefits I doubt I'd buy it again on my own.
