This was a VERY hydrating nighttime lotion. After application, my skin looked very shiny at night. In the morning however, it would be all absorbed and make my skin lovely. It was great for my acne-prone skin. Using this in conjunction with the Idealia Life Serum, I had minimal breakouts so I'm extremely happy. I may repurchase in the future (despite the high price tag) if I start getting breakouts again after I run out of this stuff.

Very moisturising, pleasant scent, luxurious packaging. Try to get yourself a sample before committing!

The Skin Sleep by Vichy is amazing. I am seeing such a difference in my skin and even the hair on my skin is less! I look forward to my nightly skin care routine now and will be picking up another bottle!!

I have been using this product along with the serum - both products I received from ChickAdvisor.

This is quite a nice cream and it does help to perk up my skin and make it look dewy and gives it some energy. It's quite pricey so I would have hesitated to buy it but I'm glad I'll be able to use it and may consider buying it again. It probably won't be heavy enough to use as my winter cream but since I like the benefits I may try alternating it or layering it with something a bit heavier - once my skin dries out a bit in the fall.

I received my Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep repair night gel-balm on May 27th free from Chick Advisor and @VichyCanada in exchange for my honest review. Since that day was my Birthday it is an especially welcome gift. The instruction card that came along with the product is simple. Apply to cleansed skin in the evening before bed. So as instructed I washed my face and applied the #IdealiaSkinsleep cream. I was surprised how little of this gel-balm you actually need to use. This is a bonus because it is a little price at $52.00 (50ml) A little of this balm goes a long way. The first thing I noticed is it smells amazing. Not really sure of the scent but I know I link it and it is not too over-powering. The balm soaking into my skin very quickly although it was a little sticky for a few minutes. Then it was off to bed. I would normally wipe off any extra face cream before lying down fearing that I would get "grease" on my pillow. Not tonight. No extra to wipe off. The next morning my skin felt really soft and nicely hydrated. I was impressed. I continued to use it night after night. That was my mistake. I am prone to breakouts and sometimes too much of a good thing is not the best for my skin. About a week later the breakouts started to appear. I have since cut back on how often I use the Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep. Just once or twice a week seems to be the best for me. The results is soft, rejuvenated skin. I have been using the Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep nightly for two weeks now, sometimes pairing with the Vichy Ideal Serum that came with the Chickadvisor package.

I have dry, sensitive skin and this product did not irritate my skin. The product does have a faint calming scent, so I'm not too sure if it's suitable for everyone with sensitive skin. I personally like its gel-cream texture. It doesn't feel heavy and greasy, but at the same time, it feels moisturizing.

After two weeks of usage, I didn't notice any visible results. Maybe it's more effective after longer usage. The product claims to renew and repair your skin, but I didn't notice an improvement in my skin texture or skin tone. However, my skin does feel smooth when I wake up in the morning.

I have used a few hydrating sleeping masks (masks you leave on overnight) of other brands that are not as expensive as this one. I find them more hydrating than the Skin Sleep, so if hydration is what you are looking for, I wouldn't recommend this product.

I really enjoy night creams. It encourages me to wash my face before bed instead of being lazy and keeping my makeup on! The Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep feels amazing on my skin and it has the most lovely scent. I always feel instantly refreshed and relaxed when I put it on. It IS a bit pricey but you know what? When you put it on it FEELS like it should cost a bit. Over the last weeks of use I have noticed that my skin feels softer and looks a bit brighter. I will seriously consider working this into my budget in the future!

I liked this cream very much. The only thing I found it gross is that if I wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and I look in the mirror I see my face is so shiny that I have to use a tissue paper to dry my skin. Maybe it's going to feel better on my skin during the winter when my skin is more dry.

Received the Vichy Idealia Life Serum with the Skin Sleep as a product to try and then Review.

I posted a photo comparison of my face before I started using it and then 14 days after with no makeup on.... I would have to say that there is no visible change. My pores are not smaller, my lines are not more fine to gone BUT, it didn't break me out, it has helped with even skin tones, and keeping my skin plump and moisturized.

I would have to say in comparison to other products the price point is average to fair

The quality is good, very comparable to other brands ranging in a variant of price points from redic $$$ to $$

Effectiveness is alright, it does help, does it change the chemistry of my skin? No is it like a new face? No
but it does keep the skin moisturized and supple

I like Vichy as a brand so I would probably repurchase this I am curious to see if the other effects (tighter pores fine lines) play into effect the more I use it. 14 days isn't really enough time for a skin-tervention if ya know what I mean LOL

Things to consider about me:
I wear a lot of makeup on a daily basis, not because I have to but because I LOVE to
I wash my face nightly with a detoxifying face wash
I use masks and facial scrubs 1/week
I have combination skin
I do not break out a lot
I do have larger pores
I am 33 and very fair to iridescent lol

I received Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep to try for free from ChickAdvisors Product Review Club. I liked the feel and smell of the night cream and found that it left my skin feeling clean and refreshed. I have fairly sensitive skin and did not have any problems using the night cream on a fairly regular basis. I haven’t been using it long enough to be see any long term effects but the day to day for my skin has been great. My skin feels and looks great and I find this night cream less oily / pore clogging to other similar products that I have used in the past. The product is fairly pricey for the little jar but I did really like it so I would probably purchase it again and I would definitely recommend it to friends.

I received this product from Chick Advisor. I must admit I didn't use it every day as I often forgot; I don't normally have a bedtime skin routine.
I loved the smell and texture - it's not too thick or greasy. I haven't used it enough to rate it's effectiveness. I would have needed more time.
Overall I must say I enjoy this product and would consider buying it in the future.
